I made a mistake when explaining which details to enter in the song properties. For the contributing artist i should’ve been put Yeat, then Lil Yachty. When there’s a song with a ft and you don’t add both artists then it would only show Lil Yachty as the artist. hope this helps!
Great video man! Only one issue with this, and it isn't major by any means. It's that when you use the Windows media player to put on the cover art, it ends up coming out super low resolution. If you use Groove Music (built in windows program) it's basically the same process except you have to download the image. It comes out much clearer though. Still a very through video!!

@@totallynotlunr9872 Yeah that’s cause all of the songs metadata is linking all those songs together and linking an album art to them
It shows up on my phone but it’s grayed out and won’t let me play it. It usually randomly fixes in a few days, but I wish it was instant

The whole local files album isn’t showing up at all. I’ve followed a lot of tutorials and it’s not showing up on my phone or laptop even though it’s enabled.
In the settings, after you add the folder, you have flip a switch to enable it. Then on the left side just search for "Local Files" under your library.

Means you have metadata in the song properties that you need to delete. certain details like the year or genre can mess up spotify’s ability to play the track.

I have done everything correct and successfully added the file to local files but it’s not coming up in my library, what do I do?
adding the song to a random playlist works, you don't have to have the local file playlist, neither do i have the local files playlist so i just added the mp3 song to my daily playlist and it works.
After downloading the songs on spotify, is it ok if i delete the source folder from my laptop and the normal mp3 downloaded songs as well (Not the ones in spotify) ?
I've followed everything you've done here and everything in your fixing grey songs on spotify but it still doesn't work. I have downloaded all of the songs on the playlist but I can't download the songs I've imported. The only metadata they have is the title, artist, album and contributing artists. I'm on the same network and have local files enabled on both my computer and phone. Is there anything else I can do?

Are you selecting the second option like I showed in the video? Also you cannot have the song open in windows media player or any other type of media playing source or it will not let you edit the details.

@@lemonsarejuicy8817 The playlist will be blank on your phone until you add the songs to your playlist on your computer. Also you have to make sure your downloading the playlist on your computer and on your phone. Hope this helps!

hey when i download the song it downloads into the new media player not the old windows media player, therefore i get an error while trying to delete the personal information. and before that i tried to play thr song on my phone and it wont let me saying ‘song not downloaded’
Sounds like a song syncing issue, it might be your Wi-Fi.
