There is a way to have all scenes at the same time without replacing the original ones and without saving and loading them one by one. 1. Backup your original scenes with "Save --> All" 2. Load the low volume scenes with "Load --> All" 3. Save the low volume scenes with "Save --> All scenes" using a new filename 4. Load the original scenes with "Load --> All" 5. Load the low volume scenes with "Load --> All scenes" using the filename you gave Now you should have the original scenes at numbers 01 to 50 and the low volume scenes at the user scenes 01 to 42.
Fairly sure loading the new LV scenes doesn't touch the originals. It just ads 42 new scenes into the user custom bays. If you had custom scenes already made they will be wiped though so you need to save them.
Hi guys, Recently purchased the EAD10 and really like it. I think i assigned a tempo to a couple of scenes because it has it on the screen...........can I remove tempo from the scene ? Thanks ✌
My EAD10 doesn't see the silent drums file, any ideas how to resolve? The flash stick works as I can save to it, but for some reason, it just doesn't read the low volume file. Thanks.
Just freaked out because I did the same thing.... I'm fairly sure the normal kit settings are still there 1 to 50, the update just loads user kit settings 1 to 42... At least that's what im hoping. If you had had custom user kits saved then they would have been wiped with the new LV upload.
does any one know if I need a actual trigger like the dt50s for the kick drum? I have the module and mic for ead10, my kick is a 14in mini kick drum with silent stoke mesh head
I downloaded the low volume file onto a flash drive but the EAD is saying there's no file. I followed this video and backed up the original scenes etc so that's done, but it won't find the low volume ones.
The kick trigger on my ead10 does not work on mesh head even if updated. It works good with normal batter head so I have to find the solution for the mesh. Any suggestion?
Two questions please. 1. If I load the data for the new Low Volume Drum Kit, will it delete the existing kits in the original version? 2. Will the new Low Volume Drum Kit data work with normal drum kit volumes, as similar to the original version of kits? Thank you in advance!
The Low Volume scenes will be stored in User Scenes 1-42. If you have any scenes in those locations, they will be overridden. Follow the instructions in the video to save your existing user scenes to a USB and load them back in after installing the Low Volume scenes. The Low Volume scenes are optimized to work best with a low volume setup using mesh heads and quiet cymbals. If used with acoustic drums, the triggered sounds might be drowned out by the sounds of the drums picked up by the mics.
DTX Drums Thank you for the response. I look forward to all of the firmware updates. So far I enjoy the sound of blended scenes with my real drum sounds. I don’t think I’ll use the mesh head option, but it’s good to know it’s there. The upgrade in storage to 90minutes is nice, although Ive never used over 30minutes while recording. Thank you again!
We can only say for sure that they will work on regular mesh heads. But you can always tweak the trigger settings if the RTOM heads do not trigger right.
Could not make it work. Saved the scenes as instructed, but the EAD doesn't load the EAD10LVDrums when I connect it. Only the "ALL" file I've created in the first step.
My DT50S trigger doesn't register anything while resting against the skin, I only register rim hits. It's this a common issue with that trigger? I assume it's a manufacturing defect
You can try tightening the mesh head to get a response. Or placing the trigger on a different area of the hoop. Make sure the trigger is securely mounted on the hoop as well! Sometimes with mesh heads, if you tighten them too far down, the hoop sinks and leaves little space for the trigger to mount on.
I have a problem. When i record with any scene, the kick is too loud. How should i set the module? It Sounds fine but the kick is over all. I have no triggers, only the original mic + module
Do you mean your user scenes? You would have had to save them before importing the low volume scenes and then load them back in again, as shown in this tutorial.
This really helped me to set up my kit with mesh heads and EAD10.... I couldn't have done it without this video Thank you

what if I didn't save the "normal" scene before importing the low volume ones? 😕 is there a way to re instal the old scenes?

How do these new scenes sound? Are they specifically only for mesh heads or can I use them on normal mylar acoustic as well?

Did u find an answer? I have the same problem !!
@@ryanlee9150 yes. you have to use a small bass drum (up to 18 i guess) and it should work
Is there going to be a full kit with yamaha shells + triggers , ead10 , hardware ?
Not that we know of! But dealers might come out with bundles like that.
If you put the triggers on the drums does it still work on the Zildjean l80s without the triggers on them ?
What do you mean? If u put the triggers on the drum, does the cymbal work without? What's the relation between the two?

Do you need to use triggers on the mesh heads to make it work?

No!

Will this work with RTOM Black Holes instead of mesh heads?

how about machine gun effect when playing with trigger?
You can always edit the trigger settings to try to prevent machine gunning, like lowering the sensitivity.

@@mr.dizini5586 Yes! You can delete them and if you want to, import them again.
