  • Kudos to Grubby for making this plugin for everyone to use! It really progresses this hobby!
Recently ive been getting alot of questions about the timer we managed to get into the OSD. It works flawless for us and we are pretty happy about it.
So what im trying to explain in the video:
Install a plugin into your rotorhazard timer.
Use a specific esp32 with an external antenna.
Flash your esp32 in hdzero goggles to 1.5 or higher with a binding phrase(does not need to be your elrs binding phrase)
type that binding phrase into the timer.
no binding needed, it just connects.
    good to go!
    Plugin: github.com/i-a...
    ESP32 that we use:
    www.amazon.com...
With some trial and error we found out that we need 14volts or higher, and that the connection range between the goggles and esp32 is around 10 meters. but that can be resolved with a longer usb cable to put the esp32 closer to the pilots. Also the pilot needs to be assigned a band in the timer, so that it knows what times belongs to which goggles.
Again, i did not do this, im just the messenger. Credits goes to our engineer Rambo who figured out how to put the plugin and everything together.
