I am so glad that Slim lived a nice long life,so that the next generation could enjoy him while he was still performing at a high level. And Sanborn sounds great!

I wonder if that's some copy right thing as his partner sings it Floogie - on his own.

Originally "Flim flam floozie," but that was apparently too risqué.

What a killer sax solo! Seen him on lots of sessions but I've forgotten his name.

Terrible sax solo. He tried to fit all the jazz licks he knows into one solo. Totally way over the edge and did not fit the groove of the band.

Steve Fiddler You’re right about the sax solo less would have been more . I saw him play with jack Bruce once at the old Bottom Line ( NYC ) he gave a much better performance/ a little more restraint. Love Slim Gaillard

I'm no jazz/sax expert whatsoever, but it sounds out of place and a bit too fast paced. Would've fit better to a pop song for example

A lot of notes about nothing. Very bad solo... Sanborn is only a mile away from Kenny G.

In the 80s & early 90s, Miller was a member of Sanborn's band. He also wrote songs & I think he produced some of Sanbor's albums.
