So what is the actual bite force of a Lion? Lion bite force is 1000 psi. Yes friends 1000 psi & which is almost equal to the Tigers. Actually 650 psi is already outdated and wrong. that was conducted on young sub-adult male African Lion. The Bengal Tiger has 1050 psi bite force & Siberian Tiger has 950 psi of bite force. Your wrong. Every source I have read since the early 70's say 650psi. Only recently, a TV show says 1,000psi. That same show, 5 years ago, said 650psi like everything else. So all of a sudden the lion gained 350psi on it's bite force. And you believe that? hahhahaahah fools are really born everyday. This channel is completely bias and a lion fanboy channel. That means it is the most unreliable source on the planet. This video goes against what has been a well known fact for decades. The results of the many outweigh the results of the few or the one. Only common sense. Oh forgot, lion fanboys don't have the ability to use common sense. My bad.

A lions bite force is around 900-1000 psi similar to a tigers, the 650 psi bite force was a test on a subadult lion, I find it quite annoying when people say there are dogs that bite harder than a lion, they’re disrespecting the king comparing him with mere dogs

Yes finally I saw a documentary of a man that tested the bite force of a young wild male lion and it reach around 1458psi proving there bite much harder then people think. And a zoologist said to me once, we can only imagine the full power of these apex predators.

I watched a documentary a long time ago about lion's bite-force. I remember them saying that it's almost impossible to get an accurate number on a lion's bite force because lions tend to apply only enough pressure as needed. They don't give all they got.

The original 2005 animal bite force test was done unfairly on a 24 month old male lion and the tiger test was not made on a live tiger but was a computer simulation using the biggest tiger skull they could find. It was unfair at the start. It took 7 years before a real test was done again this time the male lion was almost adult (about 4 years old if my memory is correct) The conclusion was both tigers and lions have similar bite force. That’s what I don’t get, I love both of these animals people are allowed to like both of these animals it doesn’t have to be one or the other they’re both incredibly impressive cats bottom line

This video will wake the Siberian tiger fan boys up lol. Sadly thier Siberian bite fource is only 900 plus PSI. like I had always mention a cold climate and a hot climate animal cannot compare in size cos of its thick fur for the Siberian tiger, it easily weighs around 50 or 60kg from nose to tail and top to bottom. Whereas a lion is lean and big cos in hot climate the most it's lion's mane weigh only 15 to 20kg that's all.

Yes it is wide spread that the lion bite force is only 650 psi compared to tiger's 1050 psi. but turned out to be false and that bite force was measured in sub adult lion. and large lions can produce up to 1000 psi which is the same as tigers.
and those are just the bite force that is measured and the measuring is not even perfect because you can't really tell the lion or tiger "hey use your best bite because we measuring"
