- TVR Wedges were built between 1980 and 1991 at a time of change at the company. It went from the hands of Martin Lilley, who attended the BBWF, to Peter Wheeler and from 4/6 cylinder engines to V8s.
A great, underrated marque and a great, and unfortunately also underrated, model.
The Wedge Fest is an annual event, and one of
the best in the TVR calendar.
Brilliant...
Great Video from a great weekend. Well done everyone involved (inc guests and owners) especially Mark and Howard.
Cheers Trickie
Never liked the wedge shape TVR ls compared to the retro S 1s & 2s, but like the TR7, time has been very kind 👍
Brings back far distant memories of my red 350i. Reg was A11 TVR. Is she still alive I wonder?
Thanks for the comment, Paul. It's great looking back. Mind you, I think nostalgia used to be much better in the old days.
Many thanks Harvey for the fantastic coverage...I owe you a few beers...:)
I did ask for the gate to be held up....Did it hit anyone?........
Thanks for the nice words. The barrier didn't hit anyone luckily. I say luckily from the point of view of a TVR lover, not as someone who wants to make dramatic video. The cars looked great. Derek
Hi, could you tell me were this fest took place?
We stayed at the rather pleasant Chesterford Grange Hotel nr Kenilworth.
I wish i had kept my 400se, reg no G649 BBY. Anyone still own her?
I know how you feel. I have a problem with my left leg. I could not declutch. I investigated changing to auto box on my Chimaera but the cost was more than I could afford. That was 2009. Now, it seems, everywhere I look I see hand-operated solenoid clutches at bargain prices.
