I had to watch the last part twice, I thought you sewed it shut but it looks like you sewed the outer edge to the inner mouse, clever design, thanks!

Thanks for the catnip pocket idea! I skipped the velcro though as cat tongues are covered in little hooks and so they catch on the hook side of the velcro and get stuck in the soft side of the velcro. :(
Instead, I have a few mice in play-circulation and just hand sew the little pocket closed and redo when I need to change the cat nip. Only takes a couple minutes and protects kitty's tongue. :)

Brilliant thanks. Can I use any material. Are there toxic materials

Hi Julie, I don't know if any fabrics would be toxic. I'd prewash them (as usual) to get rid of any chemicals that might have been used during the manufacturing process. But, I'm not an expert so I do recommend doing your own research.

Look for the "OEKO-TEX 100" certification -- that ensures it should not have any harmful chemicals used in the manufacturing process. For cat toys I use OEKO-TEX 100 certified *organic* undyed cotton -- just to be safe, as there is a lot of licking! :D
