Its over 10 years. The hard part is i dont always have enough of the patterns to give people what they want. Then there is shipping and handling. For something i sell for $1.00 each, its not woth it. We sell them pretty well at crafy shows and adoption events for the rescues i volunteer with.
@@renate19861958 -- Yes, I understand. I guess I will give it a try myself. I am a novice at sewing but I do have a nice sewing machine. I have 6 cats and they all get so loopy from catnip. I just love watching them jumping and rolling around. I think I'll dedicate one whole day to gathering materials and making these and just do it. I never buy toys anymore because my kitties sniff them and go...meh, or they will play with them for 5 minutes and walk away; but these mini-pillows should be a big hit with them.
@@saffronsworld1508 i dont think my last post worked. If youd like to order some, i can tell tou the name of the rescue i work with (501c3) and you can make a donation and i can take anpoc and you can poc what you like and ill send them to you. I tealize you dont know me so theres taking a chance but maybe we can work something out.
Hi! I mass make these for a rescue I work with. We sell them for $1.00 each. It would be too labor intensive to put Velcro on or any other opening to put fresh in. 😉 but we’re a rescue so we want repeat customers. You could get a catnip spray and spray it after you wash it.
I try to use cotten. Flannel/fleece is thick but I have tried it. I've broken the needle. I don't use knits because they are too stretchy and hard to sew in bulk. I also don't double stitch them closed any more because, hey, if they fall apart, people will buy more!! LOL
We sell them for various rescues at $1.00 each. I can get 40 out of one yard if I remember ow to cut them. LOL but I don’t sell online. Too cheap and the patterns change depending on fabric on sale.
Great Video thank you 👍🙋
Thank you for taking the time to comment! 🥰
Thank you!
You've made thousands of those?! You should sell them online. I'd buy a lot of them.

These are sooo cute..do you use cotton or flannel or both materials?

@@renate19861958 thx very helpful
What do you mean by double stitch the corners?
Hi. It just means to go forward and backward. On seeing the pillow closed the ends hold better when the cat chews on the toy.
How much do you charge for one pillow?
