Huni was subbed in for game 3 and hard carried SKT to their only win of the series. This is why LZ were hyperfocussed on Huni this game - he was the only reason SKT didn't get 3-0d and presented them with a chance of coming back for a reverse sweep. The real shame is how LZ committed 3 players to camp top side the first 10 minutes of the game and SKT couldn't do anything elsewhere on the map or gain vision/objective control. LZ picked their win condition and SKT didn't stop it.
Yeah man... It hurts to see Huni get camped like that, but that's just how the game works. Cho'Gath gets really scary late game and a good example of that is the TSM vs DIG game 4. Glad that LZ knew to shut Huni down, as well as Cho'Gath in general. I'm sure with better coordination and vision for SKT, they will be able to protect Huni lmao
I Also understand how they didi it. But non the less they still smashed skt in this series. And I think its realistic that they are likely to win worlds.
but SKT ran through the whole gauntlet from 4th climbing up to the final. No team has ever done that. LZ have the privilegue to sit down prepare anything for 2 weeks. Don't get me wrong, yes SKT is my fav team and LZ is my 2nd fav. But It's kinda unfair IMO these whole gauntlet style. But this is the only moment that I'm happy for SKT's Loss because 2 of my fav teams guaranteed top seeds at worlds and KT and SSG have to battle each other for the qualification lol
I see your point. Still I dont think its unfair since you have to work for your seeding in the regular split. Its much more rewarding to get 1st. I like it much more than the other formats. But thats just my opinion. I still think though Longhzu has a pretty good shot at worlds, since their individuals are all just so amazing and Im sure theyre capable of preparing something just as SKT. Still dosent mean they will smash worlds and there can be no other winner ^^
I already know the potential skins LZ will get if they win worlds. Khan - Jayce (Obviously) Cuzz - Not sure but probably Khazix BDD - Galio / Taliyah Pray - Ashe Gorilla - Rakan / Karma / Lulu These are assuming that they can't get skins that other teams already have for specific champions. I would love to see these.
Analysis was great, but would love to see a counter analysis where you discuss how SKT would've been able to reverse the snowball? Should they have match the top gank after the second one or whatever...?
Forgot to mention that Cuzz purposely walked forward towards Huni at the top lane tower instead of backing off immediately, so that Faker was forced to complete his teleport to tower to protect Huni. This allowed bdd to get back to lane faster and keep control of mid lane.
This is why people are wrong when they look at someone being zoned out of the game and just say "bench huni" or a few years back "bench dyrus". Theres not really much huni could have done in this situation since LZ played it so well, but its so easy to look at this cs or kda and say hes holding back the team.
Despite how Longzhu played brilliantly, I still believe SKT will come and defeat them soon, perhaps at Worlds. There is no keeping down the giants until they themselves give up.
remember season 4? when other giants rose up in the lck and totally denied skt *cough cough* samsung *cough. i think the same is bound to happen this year, but who knows, sports is unpredictable
Blade | CS:GO & LoL u know the thing is maybe NA and EU also do these things we just dont know about it. they obviously understand all these macro things so we dont know. unless we analyse all of their games. and maybe they just hav other gameplans. like this game even longzhu can only execute like this 1/10 times since there are so many variables. this was a perfect scenario for them. most of the time teams cant get the perfect scenario. its like when playing chess, u think 5 steps ahead and suddenly it all gets foiled because ur opponent does not make the move you expect him to make. same with league. in other games huni might have picked another champ that does not allow Khan to do thus
I'm a big fan of G2, but honestly after watching LCK, EULCS just seems like a clownfiesta. They do way more mistakes overall, which will be punished by Korean teams, that's just my opinion tho.
sure it is, but they have months to prepare so maybe they will find a flaw and can abuse that but i dont think u can abuse a flaw twice against these teams.
miurasrpnt just my 2cents. If I would say, I think skt will go with 2 junglers 1 top for worlds. Based on most of their World Championships, the one that usually saved skt was their sub jungler, previous years(bengi) this year in semifinals vs KT, blank. Which toplaner... idk. That will be kkoma's decision. No matter how I look at it, I can't think of Kkoma deciding for duo top and just bringing Blank to worlds.
Well, untara is more consistent and willing to play a supportive tank playstyle in the toplane. Huni, on the other hand, is more unpredictable, can only play carries, but has better mechanics and can carry SKT if he gets a lead with a carry toplaner.
Huni played tanks with proficiency throughout Spring split and MSI. I believe Huni needs to improve his mindset in regards to "i'm on SKT now if I fall behind I tilt". If he does that he has more experience on all different types of stages including worlds compared to Untara. This coupled with better mechanics would put Huni worthy to take as a sub with Blank in the jungle. *TLDR bring Huni as a sub if you can cure his tilt and start Blank at worlds.
Gnar would've been a way better pick into the blind pick jayce. Cho was a horrible pick. Gnar doesn't really have any bad matchups, he has disadvantages but he's very versatile
Huni was subbed in for game 3 and had just played Gnar. He hard carried SKT to their only win of the series. This is why LZ were hyperfocussed on Huni this game - he was the only reason SKT didn't get 3-0d. He probably avoided picking Gnar thinking LZ would be trying to shut it down
Is there a tutorial on how to deny xp CORRECTLY? I want to know how it's done without AAing enemy that makes his caster minions aggro you, unfreezing the lane in early levels. How does he know when to play like this without getting ganked? Anyone have tips?
Everything is explained in the video, in one or another way. If you walk into a bush, the minions aggro is cancelled and they get back to attack your minions. To avoid pushing too much, you lose some farm (Then lose gold) but you still get EXP that is denied to your rival. To avoid ganks, ward and try to know your opponents jungler rute. Don't ward the river bush when you see the enemy jungler is to late, go for deeper wards, like enemy red or like that.
anklespanking doesn't really have that much info compared to the other youtubers, I would only recommend anklespanking if you literally cant pay attention to information presented in an educational format. I would personally recommend LS, NEACE, and leaguecraft 101.
Huni is a pretty good player when he's even or ahead. If you put Huni behind though, he goes full Bronze. It's been his weakness his entire professional career, and this is just the most recent example of it. If you give Huni a lead, he'll give your team triple kills. If you put him behind, he practically starts inting.
It's hilarious how when Longhzu's roster was hyped up because of the bot lane but has become famous because of the solo q stars on the top half of the map
He is Smeb from last year, except he does not tilt. Smeb is a tilter, especially against SKT. Khan is a better version of smeb with less experience. Thats the only back draw about him.
hmm he is really good tho but idk we only saw him one season performing he got those signature picks like the jarvan he has lot of map rpesence but in lane ? lot of players are honestly better than him on toplane , smeb for exemple , or even huni , here he lost due to the matchup and hard focus from longzhu on him , so if he is only 3d best toplaner how can he be the best player overall ? btw faker is considered as the best player in the world since 2013 and that wont change like that and not to a guy playing toplane imo since its far less highlighted than mid / adc .
Fact is that they had xayah killing super minions in 4 hits each, being xayah she killed 2 of them at the same time, so no real push against their base at all since she cleared like crazy. KT tried to engage multiple times, but while maokai was 1v4 and not even flinching, zac passive procc'ed just 1 time and saved with tp too, their jarvan zoned adc and got melted multiple times, and sejuani couldn't keep up since she was all health build so once passive wears off she takes alot of damage. When 1 tank dies you can't teamfight anymore so KT back off and wait. And so on for 15-20 minutes. But it was already clear that samsung had bigger and better and more reliable tanks since the 1st teamfight. Perfectly in line with this meta.
Earlier today SKT made the exact opposite happen in G3 vs KZ. SKT: Their Khan stomped. Their winning jungler stomped. Their mid laner was everywhere. Their bot lane had priority and stomped.
Another big factor of lz winning this hard was costant gorilla's thresh hooks on bang.. bot got destroyed 2v2 so early that blank didn't even had time to help them out with that slow start
After watching korea summer split finals, I expected nothing but huge words of praise for khan, like zirene did here ( props to you my man ) . But yesterday at "the dive " jatt and kobe, straight up went after khan, not only downgrading his amazing play, but comparing him to some top lane wash out who did nothing in his lifetime as pro player, shame on you jatt/kobe!
Is this what we call 'The Dyrus' treatment?
Vincent Phuah yes LMFAO poor huni :/
Huni be like:
"Report jungler, never ganks!"
"Need babysit, noob?"
"Come 1 v 1 me, kid."
Shurimas Guide - Gaming Content lol nub
Great content Zirene, I really enjoy these.
Huni was subbed in for game 3 and hard carried SKT to their only win of the series. This is why LZ were hyperfocussed on Huni this game - he was the only reason SKT didn't get 3-0d and presented them with a chance of coming back for a reverse sweep. Legacy Airsoft THANK YOU, finally someone understands that's Huni isn't bad he just gets camped lol
Didnt Zirene say in the vid that they focused on Huni because he picked a late game top laner and they decided to punish him for it
no, he said that SKT realized LZ picked 3 winning lanes so they opted for an entirely late game comp to try ad outscale to win
Blank carried third game, not Huni imo. He completely denied LZ jungler and that won the game.
One of the best Breakdown's I've ever seen. Very well done Zirene.
This entire video could be summed up by saying "They camped Huni." GG
without the exact details yeah that's pretty much what happened
Angel Garcia this is called the anti dyrus start
the point here is "how they camped Huni and why they camped Huni"
That boy khan is a beast
Best top and myb even best player in the world
dem gem check out my khan montage
He's going to rekt the whole World championship lol.
I feel bad for NA / LPL / EU / LMS teams.
lol Huni got countered and they camped him. They did well as a team. Khan himself did nothing special
Khan did his work pretty good, is not like he did all and anything like that, but saying he did nothing special is disparage Khan's work imo
Great explanation, my favorite Breakdown so far. Love this macro analysis and how it was executed even at a micro level.
The way Longzhu played this game is like how SKT played around Zac the past 2 weeks (including against Longzhu)
Wow this is so well made .. Thank you !
RealTalk: WHAT WAS YOUR COLOR CHANGING SHIRT
This video is amazing and shows the depth of the game so good
Most people here: "SKT trash , LZ will win worlds "
Well I'm here understanding how LZ beat SKT
I Also understand how they didi it. But non the less they still smashed skt in this series. And I think its realistic that they are likely to win worlds.
but SKT ran through the whole gauntlet from 4th climbing up to the final. No team has ever done that. LZ have the privilegue to sit down prepare anything for 2 weeks. In Before Huninstall and Intara comments.
Worlds is gonna be interesting this year...:O
I see your point. Still I dont think its unfair since you have to work for your seeding in the regular split. Its much more rewarding to get 1st. I like it much more than the other formats. But thats just my opinion. I still think though Longhzu has a pretty good shot at worlds, since their individuals are all just so amazing and Im sure theyre capable of preparing something just as SKT. I see the Camp Dyrus strat is still alive and kicking
I love this series.
Oh baby let's have a Longzhu skins, anything other than SKT. Still love SKT tho
As a Jayce main i´d love to see a Longzhu jayce skin :D
I already know the potential skins LZ will get if they win worlds.
Khan - Jayce (Obviously)
Cuzz - Not sure but probably Khazix
BDD - Galio / Taliyah
Pray - Ashe
Gorilla - Rakan / Karma / Lulu
These are assuming that they can't get skins that other teams already have for specific champions.
I would love to see these.
I saw LZ syndra and Lucian fan art I freaking came. Their colors are so nice for skins.
Shaneoblack Ashe already has another skin coming out so it cant be her
Should be xayah rakan
Ozner Ashe and Ahri will never run out of skins lmao
Best The Breakdown video yet
Analysis was great, but would love to see a counter analysis where you discuss how SKT would've been able to reverse the snowball? Should they have match the top gank after the second one or whatever...?
Man, I love this breakdown!
nice analysis never knew this till today !
This breakdown is legendary...
Forgot to mention that Cuzz purposely walked forward towards Huni at the top lane tower instead of backing off immediately, so that Faker was forced to complete his teleport to tower to protect Huni. This allowed bdd to get back to lane faster and keep control of mid lane.

Theres not really much huni could have done in this situation since LZ played it so well, but its so easy to look at this cs or kda and say hes holding back the team.
One single word that SKT lacks this split and Long Zhu has totally figured out : "CONSISTENCY"
Despite how Longzhu played brilliantly, I still believe SKT will come and defeat them soon, perhaps at Worlds. There is no keeping down the giants until they themselves give up.
Great another set of skt skins ResidentSleeper.........
remember season 4? when other giants rose up in the lck and totally denied skt *cough cough* samsung *cough. i think the same is bound to happen this year, but who knows, sports is unpredictable
aah pls my brain, i just want to play a Game
And some people think EU or NA stands a chance against KR LUL
Blade | CS:GO & LoL they did untill now.
ShortHDVideos asians>everyone
Blade | CS:GO & LoL Who? No one thinks that lol
This breakdown was awesome! Longzhu is definitely getting second place at worlds! (we already know which team is getting first place hehe XD)
Amazing lane management by Khan, wish the best to LZ at at worlds
Love this format
Insane teamwork and strat.. Simple and very very risky.. but it turned out well.. thanks for the inside of the match :)
Great episode!!!
Overall a fantastic series to watch
These videos are amazing
Sick breakdown!
"The Breakdown"... or "Why Korea is better than the whole World"
tsm couldnt win more than 1 game in a bo5 vs any of these two teams.
I think even 1 win is pretty optimistic. Myb with some strange cheese...
sure it is, but they have months to prepare so maybe they will find a flaw and can abuse that but i dont think u can abuse a flaw twice against these teams.
Mercury this guy lmao
Just accept the best region in the world is Korea, the worst is na, and the rests are irrelevant cause they cant win anyway
Basically set a tent up at top lane
The actual discussion now becomes: Does SKT bring Huni for worlds specifically to take down LZ or do they go for the double jungle?
miurasrpnt just my 2cents. If I would say, I think skt will go with 2 junglers 1 top for worlds. Based on most of their World Championships, the one that usually saved skt was their sub jungler, previous years(bengi) this year in semifinals vs KT, blank.

Based on Skt's insta, skt went with duo jungles and top laner is huni. They are already at China.
dude great video !
masterpiece .
That final was best game i had seen this year..
I'm really excited to see what strategy SKT will have to try and defeat LZ...
Gnar would've been a way better pick into the blind pick jayce. Cho was a horrible pick. Gnar doesn't really have any bad matchups, he has disadvantages but he's very versatile
Elliott Buggs A carry would have been so much better, they could've won :/
skt has no strong early game champ thats why longzhu punish it
Elliott Buggs I think Gnar was banned that match.
Leonardo Dabestio nope . Gnar is available
Huni was subbed in for game 3 and had just played Gnar. He hard carried SKT to their only win of the series. This is why LZ were hyperfocussed on Huni this game - he was the only reason SKT didn't get 3-0d. He probably avoided picking Gnar thinking LZ would be trying to shut it down
These are so good.
New here but love your breakdown videos!!
Yay I love this!
5:22 lol that taliyah squeak
Why is the video quality so bad for LCK? Even at 1080p it looks really bad...Especially during the 1st minute of footage.
when streamed they have black border around the screen. On this video they zommed in to remove the black bars so we have lost quality
You would think a rito employee has access to the replay files from in game instead of a twitch vod.
Is there a tutorial on how to deny xp CORRECTLY? I want to know how it's done without AAing enemy that makes his caster minions aggro you, unfreezing the lane in early levels. How does he know when to play like this without getting ganked? Anyone have tips?

You can watch some SoloRenektonOnly vids. Every game he plays, he shows some lane management. Very informative tho he is a little clickbaity.
nah watch anklespanking. insanely entertaining and informative too
anklespanking doesn't really have that much info compared to the other youtubers, I would only recommend anklespanking if you literally cant pay attention to information presented in an educational format. I would personally recommend LS, NEACE, and leaguecraft 101.
amazing teamwork
After being the reigning champs for so long, it's expected that some team will eventually beat them. This isn't surprising at all.
Huni is a pretty good player when he's even or ahead. If you put Huni behind though, he goes full Bronze. It's been his weakness his entire professional career, and this is just the most recent example of it. If you give Huni a lead, he'll give your team triple kills. If you put him behind, he practically starts inting.
you stupid enough to make this comment. go play a super late champ like cho, be behind and u ll be Iron before you know it
This is how to play that TSM last ditch effort of "adjusting"
Thanks for the spoil in the title 👍👍👍👍👍
It's hilarious how when Longhzu's roster was hyped up because of the bot lane but has become famous because of the solo q stars on the top half of the map
Fact: Khan is with his performance right now the best league of legends player in the world. OGN watchers agree.
Pretty much, well the world finals is whenever these 2 meet up.
Gregory Love nice joke man^^
Untill worlds comes and Faker gets buffed again
Having this in the launcher spoiled the entire LCK postseason for me. Thanks Riot.
Great Video,
But couldnt blank and Faker just Counter The LG taktik by ganking bot 2 or 3 times and bring Tristana ahaid ?
Can u do a break down on the SSG base defence against Kt
You can sum it up in: 1. I have the bigger tanks 2. If I kill your adc first I win
Desolace81 But the way that they swung the inhibitor control was amazing.
But it was already clear that samsung had bigger and better and more reliable tanks since the 1st teamfight. Perfectly in line with this meta.
Desolace81 But in the early stages when there was a 7k gold lead and not when everyone was full build.
It was how they got to the late game with their adc and mid both down in gold that was amazing.
very interesting analysis :)
HOW THEY GET THIS FULL REPLAYS?
Earlier today SKT made the exact opposite happen in G3 vs KZ.
SKT: Their Khan stomped. Their winning jungler stomped. Their mid laner was everywhere. Their bot lane had priority and stomped.
I've never seen SkT lost this hard since s4. OMG this LZ is real.
gragas for mvp, the sacrifice in him was greater than anything junglers in any game i've seen have done
The dyrus treatment feelsbadman
the gap is closing, but not between Korea and the rest of the world, but between Korea and SKT
3:20 Why didn't faker already TP in?
Do you think LZ can easily beat SKT after they punished them ?
The good old Dyrus treatment
Does anyone think Zirene is more focussed on early game snowballing than late game teamfights?
HUNINSTALL
savage
LOL Dude you made my day XD
My brain explodes when I watch The Breakdown in some Korean team
would love to see khans jax in game one that absolutely shredded skt
Would have been better if showed what SKT jgler was doing during those dives
If anyone can, LZ Khan
wait...
this sushi , SKT Huni
The sad part about this is that Huni got dove twice and still has to do his own vision
Wow what a game plan
In Xanadu did Kubla Khan a stately pleasure dome decree
for God sake, give the Peanut jungler and he never let's his toplaner get camped so hardcore like this, dam it!
Wait for the comeback of SKT.
Good luck at worlds TSM
You are joking, right ?
faker is better than bjergsen....
I love the random comment about TSM in a video that has nothing to do with them....Do you guys ever take them off your mind?
Who punctuation about cares?
Helado svenskeren lost so much weight looool thx bro u killed me
Another big factor of lz winning this hard was costant gorilla's thresh hooks on bang.. bot got destroyed 2v2 so early that blank didn't even had time to help them out with that slow start
cant say that i shall give u a thumb up
Longzhu taking NA strats from when Dyrus used to play.
When you have the best bot lane in the world, you can split the map in half so easily knowing that you won't get snowballed bottom...
Tfw when skt doesn't win a tournament XD
they did even worse last year's summer split(not even finals) but they still won worlds
Why didn't Blank root the jayce when he took aggro beginning of first dive?
Blank misplayed a lot in that game.
[ALL] Huni (Cho'Gath): GG, report my jungle, got camped with no help from my AFK Mao!
?? They just said that Smeb is still a better top laner
which is not true, they also compared him to nanjin white shield top laner who dominated in lck, and yet did nothing at world
Love how little counterplay there is to being non stop camped. Also how massive an advantage it can get you.
Gotta love this supersnowball meta, amirite? I miss the days when games weren't decided by 11 minutes.
Its been a year and both those teams are not in worlds :(
And to think, there are still so many teams weaker than skt even at this weak time.. Hope this world's will be hype
Summary: Huhi got the Dyrus Treatment
He doesn't mention how mao is a level behind for that first blood
Basically the Dyrus threatment. Amiright amiright
THIS is why eSports is just as much a sport as soccer or basketball or really any other sport.
I wonder what it`ll be like if you give Khan the Dyrus Treatment :D
He gets a kill 3v1 and survives. :) Check out the game vs. KT.
Michael Kim he'll get a triple.
Stop Babysit !
/all Gragas come again top
Ayyy I'm getting camped babyrage.
Jayce was stomping even by himself lol
Khan is a BEAST Holy
The old "Dyrus treatment" - Korean edition.
