    💗 PEPPERMINT (MENTHA PIPERITA)
Peppermint oil contributes to hair growth and thicker hair. I’ve been using peppermint oil to stimulate my hair growth since the beginning of my hair growth journey. This is the hair growth oil that I used the most especially at the beginning of my hair growth journey and it’s my favorite for many reasons.
    1) Vasodilation : peppermint oil has a cooling and refreshing effect on the scalp and helps increase blood circulation to the scalp. Improved blood flow can deliver more oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles, which promotes healthy hair growth.
    2) Antimicrobial and Antifungal : peppermint oil has antimicrobial and antifungal properties which means it may help combat scalp conditions that can hinder hair growth. By keeping the scalp clean and free from infections, peppermint oil helps to create a healthier environment for hair follicles to thrive.
    3) Soothing and Cooling Sensation : peppermint oil gives a soothing and cooling sensation when applied to the scalp. This can help alleviate scalp irritation, itching, and inflammation.
    4) Moisturizing and Nourishing : peppermint oil is rich in nutrients and has emollient properties that helps to keep the scalp moisturized and nourished.
    5) As an added bonus, peppermint oil smells really good. If you use onion juice for hair growth during your hair wash days, I advise you to use peppermint oil in-between wash days to eliminate the smell of onion juice.
The main chemical constituents found in peppermint tea leaves include:
    1) Menthol: Menthol is one of the primary compounds in peppermint tea leaves and is responsible for the characteristic cooling sensation and minty aroma.
    2) Menthone: Menthone is another significant compound in peppermint tea leaves. It contributes to the minty flavor and aroma, but it has a slightly different scent compared to menthol.
    3) Menthyl acetate: This compound adds a fruity and somewhat floral note to the overall aroma of peppermint tea leaves.
    4) 1,8-Cineole (Eucalyptol): 1,8-Cineole is a terpene compound found in peppermint tea leaves, which contributes to its refreshing aroma and may have respiratory benefits.
    5) Limonene: Limonene is a citrusy compound present in peppermint tea leaves, adding a hint of citrus aroma to the overall scent profile.
    6) Rosmarinic acid: Rosmarinic acid is a phenolic compound found in peppermint tea leaves and has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
    7) Flavonoids: Peppermint tea leaves contain various flavonoids, including eriocitrin, luteolin, and hesperidin, which are plant compounds with potential antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

You don't have to dry them all the way though. Just make sure after you wash the leaves with regular water that the water completely evaporates. 😊

I think they can be used as they are but you will nerd to rinse them out with water and then dry them well of the water with a towel before use.

I was thinking the same thing but I think dry peppermint would be better. If you have fresh peppermint, as I do, you can place this on a paper towel and cover the top with another paper towel and put in microwave for short bursts. Don't overcook. Check regularly and only do a short lot at a time so this dries properly. Hope this helps.

Hey sis ! I prefer this one because it’s actually the right way to do it and you get all the properties of peppermint. But if I don’t have time I just prepare the other version because it’s ready in less than one minute. 🤗

Can I use normal coconut oil instead of fractionated? Does it make a difference?

    • @UnivHairSoleil3
      @UnivHairSoleil3  11 месяцев назад +3

Yes you can use coconut oil. Fractionated coconut oil is just lighter for the scalp and the nutrients from the plants infuse more easily and faster.
