The general consensus is: yes they could have done that however - A) it would have cheapened the joke and stakes of the story. Clone Frieren would have just quickly blown the mimic up and the fight would continue, but with a significantly different tone. B) In-universe; The real Frieren would not risk the chest in fear a grimoire was actually in there.
as a joke, a definite yes, but on a serious note, frieren would only go for the mimic chest if there's no other greater threats happening nearby, so a more serious plan would be to sneak in a mimic chest and wait at a distance to see the clone taking the bait, and stealthily go for the kill.
Himmel is the player who scours every corner of the game's dungeons for all the loot and takes out EVERYTHING- including the useless stuff... and then pawns it off on the nearest shop owners, taking each and every coin...
The good things on clips is getting attention to detail. Frieren mentioned making the mimic gag by pushing her in instead of pulling her body out. This actually was shown working within the clip at 2:20
Small spoilers, but there is a moment in the near future where she IS right and it isn't a Mimic The thrill she must've gotten when everything was telling her "this is a mimic" and it WASN'T I understood, as a gacha game player, the feeling
Unfortunately Himmel's handsomeness was very short lived. When he got old.. Himmel not only lost his handsomeness.. but also lost his blue hair, it was completely gone. His body, which was originally much taller than his friend, suddenly became very short. Very long, old white mustache and beard. This is a robbery against a handsome hero. At first I really wanted Himmel to marry Frieren.. but after seeing Himmel's old condition, it would be really bad if they got married.😂😂😂
"....but you chose magic" Basically what you did say is technically correct, but at the end of the day frieren makes her understand that she indeed chose magic, and she likes magic.
No, Celestia Ludenberg herself was deliberately referencing the pre-existing drill-hair/Ojou-ringlets trope with her wig, because she wants to come across as rich and classy.
Ferns new passion in life is just adventuring with Frieren to see her smile. So freaking cute.
2:24 Ah yes the joys of being a loot goblin
So you tell me that if they pet that mimic and bring it to the clone Frieren it would been an easy grab?
i think youre on to something

@notme232 i dont think so, because the clones dint have minds, only mimicking the subjects.

I agree at ur B option 😂😂 objectivelly funny@@notme232

And does every sidequest as possible so by the time of the final battle he is double the boss level.
Even after I've watched the ending so many times and I know what happens, evil Frieren clone is still terrifying.

She will live for another thousand years, eventually she’ll be right

@@666eclipseokd himmel still looks elegant and handsome though. Look at his eyes.
It’s obvious how big of an influence Himmel was non Frieren's life.
So Fern being a mage is incidental, since she just learned magic so she could repay Heiter by travelling with Frieren?
"....but you chose magic"

Himmel does feels like a player in a dungeon. Branching path? Door to the next section? Better go back and see where the other path lead first

Fern the classic example of the co star stealing every scene
what in the bronya-sorcery-tech-sorcery is this?

Himmel is a filthy completionist
Except he actually gives to charity when he says he will.
Is Frieren’s hair a fucking celestia ludenberg reference?
