Moment when I heard this part of Paris concert , I fell in love with their songs and started to play piano. Thanks for covering this since this isn't just intro to song for me
Just bought a keyboard after 10+ years on guitar and this was the best version I’ve found, thank you for you hustle brother 👍 don’t worry I’m not a great vocalist either, don’t stop though!
Holy Crap dude your a GENIUS!!! :D THANKS!! I've always been wanting to learn this intro and been looking Everywhere for it! Haha Thankyou once again man, 2013 Cheers!
Man your tutorial are great really that’s very kind and you are very talented! Keep up this work ! I’m a beginner with piano , but your tutorial makes me learn my fav band songs easy ! 🙏🏻 bless you
You’re awesome bruh!!!! I heard this on a live DVD and I wanted to learn how to play this but since I don’t read piano I rely so much on your video lessons. Thank you so much for this
Sorry, I am just getting back to you now. I will gladly record it, but just so you know, there is an official acoustic version of this song. Check that out before you make a decision, because it is a lovely version of the song. I will send you a link.
Welcome! That's awesome! Coldplay have some of the best pop piano songs out there. Also if you're into classical, check out "Postcards From Far Away". That's a nice short classical tune played by Chris.
I'll check it out, thanks! Btw, I like your talking and detailed explanations. And anyone with a piano background knows you MUST sing at the piano to learn a song or to teach a song to a group of people, in order to keep everyone together. Even difficult songs are sung sofreggio (do-re-mi) when learning them. So props for doing it right and thanks again
Thank you, I appreciate that! I really can't sing well but as you say, it's crucial to keep track of where you are in the song. Especially songs that have repetitive parts but have minor changes throughout. It's very important.
Hi Coldplykb. Thx a lot for your video!!. I must say that from all the videos on Yellow I´ve found here yours was maybe the one that sounds best. Thx again
Absolutely, I would be honored to! In fact, I can do a high quality recording of it, so it's not just off of a RUclips video of you want. When do you need it by?
Awesome! Just what I was looking for! Would you mind preparing a score of the notes for me, it would be a big help to me since I haven't been able to make this sound nice myself and tomorrow's my next week's my perormance...
hey kyle, i'm trying to learn this song in a 61 keys keyboard I just bought. It seems like there are not keys enough for the left hand part hahha. Is it possible to play this song on 61 keys keyboard?
@@Coldplaykb Got it. I'll watch almost all of your tutorials for coldplay songs. 61 keys will not limit me right? I did a lot of research before buying my CTK3500 and as per I could see, people said that 88 keys are more needed when you want to play classical music. Then I thought I'd be able to play coldplay songs with a 61 keys keyboard just like they sound. i'm really worried about it haha help me
Not sure if you're active anymore, sir/ I am a novice at this and was wondering if you still make Coldplay Vids. Question though: Is this for a voice-over or is it just an intro to the song?
I was lucky enough to snag this off of eBay for $500. I do see some pop up on there from time to time but they are usually a little more expensive and they are local pick up only. It's a heavy keyboard so shipping is usually very expensive.
I am pretty sure that it is just extended like the 2012 version. So you would just play the chords in the left hand, while doing the melody in the right.
in addition to the live 2012 version which yellow is only played in the front theres a full version of this one chris sang for every mother counts, /watch?v=aeCX8UiAIoM its so beautiful!
Thanks everyone for the kind comments. I'm glad it's been helpful for everyone. More on the way soon!
+Coldplaykb you got the sheet music?
+José Lucas Nério Fustinoni I do not unfortunately. I learned it by ear. Sorry!
Dont worry!! Its ok!! I will learn watching you!!! Hehehe

From here you can listen to full compilation 13:20
I love your tutorials! Thank you so much. It saves me a lot of time trying to listen to the song and figuring it out myself.
I’m a guitarist and started teaching myself on piano during the pandemic. Can’t read piano so I rely on this guy lol. Keep playing music 🙂
Awesome. You teach very well and clearly play the notes.

Could anyone list out the chords he uses for each part of the song? I'm a beginner, beginner and have been following his finger placement

Buen tutorial...lo necesitaba urgente...
Can I play this version of Yellow and then use the transition to The Scientist and fit those two together?
Awesome! Just what I was looking for! Would you mind preparing a score of the notes for me, it would be a big help to me since I haven't been able to make this sound nice myself and tomorrow's my next week's my perormance...
great lesson! where can I find this version as the whole song?
Awesome thank you
Thanks for the tutorial! just wondering if you do know what that minor chord is at the end of the original version??
I don't know what its actually called, but it is a variant of A.
Thanks , but the chorus sounds different
Chris plays two chords in the chorus
I finally did it, thanks!
hey kyle, i'm trying to learn this song in a 61 keys keyboard I just bought. It seems like there are not keys enough for the left hand part hahha. Is it possible to play this song on 61 keys keyboard?
Hey there! Yeah it should be. You'll probably just have to omitt the lower note in the left hand octave.

Ayush Thapa Hello, this is the acoustic version of the song.
hi noob question here, i'm using portable keyboard only, may i know what tone is used on this? Is it just piano, grand piano? etc
This is my old keyboard and I forget what sound I used but I want to say I used the mellow piano? You can use whatever sound you like :)
@@Coldplaykb thanks!
Hey man, great tutorial! Any chance to do a sheet music for that? ^.^
Where can you find the rest of the song on piano?
Very much so!
I can play on a regular keyboard?
How did you play that last part! the fast part! I want to know that so bad!
Thank you so much! May you send me the piano sheet?
I don't think you show it in here, but do you know the different cord change at the very end of the song? Thanks:)
Thanks!
OMG brot T Y brot. I love Yellow..
Wow !
Can I play it on a keyboard of 61 keys?
i am a beginner.
Hi! That should not be a problem. You might not be able to hit a few lower octaves but other than that you should be all set!
How much does your piano cost and from where did you get it?
I was lucky enough to snag this off of eBay for $500. I do see some pop up on there from time to time but they are usually a little more expensive and they are local pick up only. It's a heavy keyboard so shipping is usually very expensive.
@@Coldplaykb thank you!!💗
@@plantesy3127 You're welcome!
Could you type all the cords for the chorus in the info box?
perfect
Thank you!!
You're really a great pianist !
Not as good as Chris for the singing part but awesome on the piano, thanks a lot :D
Do you know where I can find it in E?
Please do anothers arms and The piano part in magic.
You're The best!!
Both those are on my list :)
Coldplaykb i can't find them on your channel
Oh sorry, I meant that they are on my list of tutorials to do in the future.
Coldplaykb Nice. Also Aiko If possible :)
Will be doing that as well :)
Can you do one for the intro on Viva la Vida on Live 2016? Thank you!
I am pretty sure that it is just extended like the 2012 version. So you would just play the chords in the left hand, while doing the melody in the right.
Could you teach the notes after B #A #G #F(12:40) please? It sounds like a few more notes after chords. ;D
in addition to the live 2012 version which yellow is only played in the front theres a full version of this one chris sang for every mother counts, /watch?v=aeCX8UiAIoM its so beautiful!
That amazinh
What camera are you using?
Thank you
