Yes, he is a talented poet. I have his books and have spent many hours reading them. Talent does not excuse one from doing what is right. Talent can be used for dark motives and ends. Also, the very people who control who it is who wins these awards (especially the Nobel Prize) all have (how improbably) the same ideology, philosophy, political world-view.
