53 Block Cummins Replacement Is Finally Ready To Install!

I finally have my engine ready to install in my 2001 dually after it cracked the original 53 block over a year ago. It’s basically a stock rebuild with Xotic head studs, and a fresh set of 50hp injectors.

I used few sets of those headstuds never had that issues. My 2000 24v I stuck 7x11 injectors in it with a straight key in the vp44 along with a 65hp superchip it ran clean that was with stock hx35.

They were fine once I backed them out 1.5 turns or so. I think they’ll be fine now, hopefully I’ll get to find out soon. I think they were just too deep in the block for whatever reason. I almost went back with head bolts but decided I better just go ahead and stud it while I was here.

Not related to this video but i seen a street diesel pulling video from last year from your postings. Im about an hour away and would love to come watch this year maybe even participate if you have dates and times for this years events.

I had the same stud problem with a ford turned out there is different head thicknesses and I had the wrong one
