Absolutely brilliant video man love the sound of that 24 valve can you please see if you can do an extremely long ASMR in cab ride along with interstate driving and if you can’t see if you can make it a three or four hour video because like I said, I can’t get enough of that sound stay safe man and have a great one
I have a P-pumped 01 that is getting ready to be rebuilt and going to dually my 2500 with 3500 running gear. Fun times. Sounds great man. Much love from North Carolina 🤙🤙🇺🇸
Thanks and good luck with your build, sounds like it should be a runner 👍👍
@@CumminsDriverwhat being done to the tractor?
@@Diesel.09 Its got a hydraulic fluid leak that is getting the clutch wet, which is making it slip. So that will be fixed as well as a possible new clutch depending on how it looks. And i believe he's going to send the radiator off and have it rodded and boiled out because it'll get hot if you work it hard long enough .
@@CumminsDriver ok
Really like the look of your pickup. Did you paint the steel wheels black and just use the chrome center caps only?
Thanks, I appreciate it 👍Yes, I just painted the wheels black and put the factory center caps on. I still have the simulators that would normally be on the wheels but the front ones are missing the plastic tabs that hold them to the wheel and they still stay on but they make a lot of noise so I decided to just take them off.
I need to invest in my 95 ole girl sooo she can pull like that!
I’ve already nv4500 swapped her
It'll do it stock, just maybe a little slower! lol A fuel plate, governor spring kit, and bumping the timing to about 16* is a nice driveable setup for a 12v and makes it a ton more fun to drive and tow with. Just keep an eye on EGT's.
I towed a 1066 with my 96 few years ago was little over 24000lbs gross. The stopping power is was gets these trucks. I never understood why no one has come up.with a bigger brake kits for the 94-99 trucks. I know 2000-2002 I larger brakes front and rear plus you can put 3rd gen calipers on the fronts.
Yeah thats a pretty good load no doubt. I didnt have much trouble stopping but i definitely wouldnt want to panic stop. The trailer brakes worked well too which makes all the difference, but thats definitely one of the biggest advantages of the newer trucks. Braking and the extra gears with better lockup strategy are definitely advantages to the newer trucks. I think id like to pull the valve body at some point and modify it for 2nd gear lockup but i havent done it yet lol
@@CumminsDriver I did that to my valve body 2nd gear lock up. Transgo makes the pro shift kit now that locks every gear if u want that's what I started using in all my valve body's I do.
