I have schrizoaffective disorder for 10 years . It spikes up and leads to suicidal thoughts and severe depression.
But when I found this song, everything just seems to be silenced. No voices in my head, no hallucinations or delusions.
Nothing bad can stand in the presence of Jesus.
Don't give up. He still has your hand when you feel you're slipping.

God's wisdom is truly greater than anything else. There were times in my life I couldn't understand why He let me encounter toxic people in my life. I questioned His authority for allowing me to meet these ruthless people and ruin me but years has passed and I know understand why the Lord allowed these people to enter my life and that is with a purpose, to mold me to become the person I am now, cliche as it sounds but I can attest to that with my experience. Only God can give us peace in our hearts which no human can ever suffice. Amen.

Her voice is so soooooo sweet, and honestly it's my first time seeing a brown girl on a Hillsong stage, I love the representation! (if there are others, please do tell me). Says on their website that she is of Mauritian, South African and Malawian heritage.

we just had a youth conference at my church, we sang the first night, and burdens i had been carrying since i was 4 years old were lifted off my shoulders. addictions were broken within 20 people, lives were changed, and there was countless salvations.

Last week, I got depressed with the recent news about the world.
Australia is burning after the great fire on the amazon. WW3 because of US and Iran.
I got really depressed. I mean who can blame me right? The world is in chaos. "What will happen to the future? How can we live in a world full of chaos? How about my future?" Thoughts like these came crashing through me when i read the news Iran will wage war against the US that sunday. I was in bathroom, anxiously panicking. I prayed to God to calm me but didn't work. It was when i went to church and saw people praising God, i felt ease and it calmed me. Later that day I was searching for peace songs in RUclips that I found this song. I was speechless. It's like God is telling me that "don't worry! Don't be anxious! I am still in control of everything" I smiled. My heart felt peace knowing that He is always there for us, working behind the scenes in this world full of chaos.
Now, every time i feel anxious, I just listens to this song 🙂

The fact that this song actually gives me peace... everytime I have nightmares or sleep paralysis this is the only song that puts me back to sleep peacefully.
The first time I heard this song I lost it. I was going through some tough times and I needed the Lord more than ever. I thought he didn't see my pain and suffering but this song gave me comfort and reassurance, it made me realize that one day he's going to bring me peace.
Jesus loves you and just know no matter what, he will always be there for you in your happiest and even darkest days! He died for your sins, forgave all of your sins and did this so that you could receive salvation for your soul. And on the third day he rose up from the grave conquering death for us allowing us room to now have a relationship with him!

Before listening to this song, I was an emotionless person and had many worries in my heart. I was scared a lot because I was a sinner. I was thinking whether God would forgive me. No wonder I love to worship, it is in my blood through the Welsh, Scottish and N. Irish part of me! This is powerful. My dad would walk around our house belting out the great hymns like this. "Thank You, Jesus, You and You alone paid my ransom! I have gained life and life eternally from what You have done!"
Still my peace even in 2020
I feel like I am a failure. I was left behind. Left out. And I just can't understand why it had to happen to me. I began to ask where'd I go wrong and compared myself to those who are worst than me. I've been crying my heart for a month now. I feel empty... but then I saw this. Lord, I know that you're with me in this battle. I just want to achieve my greatest Mount Everest. I will always be with you and may you be with me too in this journey. Thank you, Lord!
