I am a Korean. I know how to make kimchi fried rice. You don't want to put semame oil at the start. It will burn it off. You can basically add whatever you want, but typically, fried rice has egg in it. Basic ingredients are so rice (sticky rice please), egg, and kimchi. My secrete is adding butter to give it a soft and rich flavor. Soy souce is a must along with sesame at the end.
I just bought a set. Why is my paper towels black after I washed them already, then seasoned them with avocado oil? The guy at Costco told me the black doesn’t come off when cooking them.
Just buy a basic iron wok at a fraction of the price. Hexclad is great the first year...then...you will think about why you didn't just buy an iron wok.
To clean your cookware, we recommend using a mild dish soap and regular dish sponge, our favorite are Scrub Daddy brand sponges with warm water. For particularly stubborn stains, Bar Keeper's Friend and an SOS pad should do the trick!
I use barkeepers friend liquid. Just a small dab on a sponge or paper towel, and lightly buff, works like a charm. Lifetime warranty on the pans, phenomenal performance. IMHO @@HexClad
Just curious here folks....do Koreans eat meat rare the way ppl in America do? That steak would never work for me. Would have to take it home and cook it.
This pots and pans are good for 3 weeks and the they become garbage , when you try to get help with warranty , no one but no one ever will get back to you ever .
This video should have a disclaimer of raping of Korean culture by a non-Korean company and a non-Korean Chef. Now I would understand if the chef or title said western take on korean kimchi fried rice but it doesn't. First of all, its a hearty and simple dish. Steak? Second of all, the wrong type of rice. It wasn't sticky. Third of all, nori? This Mejia person couldn't do any research of the proper term used by Koreans and not Japanese?

Luckily we get to choose what we like!

Price on them pans n pots…😮
Promoting nonstick with egg by drowning in oil. Classy!
You don't have to use oil... I can fry an egg and it won't stick. These pans are pricey, however the performance and ease of clean up are obvious.

I hope your 14-inch wok had a handle

For the price, Hexclad is as useless as its endorser, Gordon Ramsey! Dafne looks like a pretty cool person, but Hexclad and Gordon Ramsey... NOT!!!
Did he hurt u? 😂
Go vegan!
