Hands down the best drawn issue of GI JOE. Top 5 best stories. His covers were great as well. This was peak Golden. He drew gear so well which is key with GI JOE. I remember as a kid being so disappointed in Yearbook 3 when Golden didn't draw it.
I don’t have any of the comics yet because I gave my original ones away. And I had the first issue. So sad but at least a neighbours kid got to experience them and a few cool GIJoes.

Yes, it’s a custom that I made from a Buzz Lightyear vehicle. Just some paint and some custom pieces like the roll cage. I keep meaning to make a video about it. I love the Oktober Guard, mostly because of this issue of the comic. Thanks for the kind words and for watching the video.

I really like seeing the ink with no color. I find I can pick out the detail better. And I can compare it to the printed color version. Thanks for watching 👍

It would have been even better to have some colour for sure. But it does look awesome
