That is really tough to define. Every era has had it's great finishers. Eddy Mercxk was no slouch in a sprint finish. But, he was eclipsed by one of the all-time greats, Patrick Sercu. Urs Freuler was also very tough to beat to the line, if the race wasn't too hilly, or too long. But, the list can be quite extensive. Saronni, Maertens, Simpson, Ocker, and many, many more. If they were to all be placed on a level playing field, I would put my money on Sercu.
when renshaw was out of the TdF Cav still put many bike lengths between himself and the other 'sprinters'. But yes, the top sprinters have top sprinters as lead out men.
Renshaw could easily be one of the best sprinters of this era. well i guess he is but he could easily be winning stages of the TdF but yet he leads out Cav huge respect to him and Cav is a fucking animal
nice-looking kitchen at :07 xD! haha! he looked burdened at :15. this is good for cycling inspiration, but I'd prefer soccer prob lol. I've had a road bike but amd used to mountain and never knew those bottom handle bars are for aerodynamic sprints. I can't sit up on a bike without hands on handlebars either. I talked the whole time on a run. do bikers talk much in pelatons? if you don't talk, what's point? would be better solo if not communicating (for training stuff) zoomed out 3:50 cool.
everyone's like 'how is he so fast?' it's all in his acceleration. how his saddle compared to others. It's going twice as fast when the sprint starts then he gets a good lead on the others, then he lets rip! and makes everyone else look silly! lol
shame their is no htc highroad lead out train anymore. Still could have one more stages in this years tour de france if it wasnt for crashes and that and still mad it four consecutive wins on the champs elysee

Not too bad, but dont start with his best win in Paris ... the rest will not be as good otherwise, i also feel a better tribute is the film "Chasing Legends" ... just sayin
a great vidoe man fiarplay. cavendish though in my opinion just another cycling doper... missed a 2011 drug test and no action was taken... pro cycling is just a joke thses days... turns out u can miss 3 tests before any action is taken against a pro cyclist. this creates a massive window in out of season training to dope... its just a matter of scheduling for the top pros to dope and be clean at the races... anyone who belives cycling as cleaned up and changed just 2 years is dreaming.
