Being Hospitalized? Bring this with you

If you are able to bring one thing to the hospital (besides an insurance card and a checkbook) make sure you have someone to advocate on your behalf. Even for minor things, having someone there as a second set of eyes, a second pair of ears, someone to ask those questions are so important.

I had to advocate for my mother as well. I followed her wishes and her living will directive. EVERYONE needs a living will.
