The conference would be near the top of the pack if we were judging based on the beauty of their campuses.

I’ve refereed youth basketball at The Roof/BU. The stands pull back and there are three full courts available. Because it’s over the Walter Brown Arena (Hockey) the floor of the gym has some serious bounce due to the span underneath. It’s constant and takes some getting used to.

Having taught at Lafayette, Bucknell & Lehigh, I certainly testify to the following!!
Atmosphere at LaFayette is incredible. The bitter rivalry between Lehigh & LaFayette is 2nd to none!!
Bucknell is a fantastic facility but does not carry the passion as the Lehigh & LaFayette carry between the 2 schools that are only a few miles apart.
    Thanks for the video!!

Wasn't Lehigh's mascot the Engineers a few decades ago? If so why the change?

@@neilwhitaker6284 the numbers of red tail hawks in the surrounding mountains and the Delaware River Valley were enormous. The Lehigh Valley was filled with them. So the name change was easy from the Engineers to the Hawks.

@@chuckcenkner1459 Thank you for the explanation Chuck! I drove through the valley once around 1989 but that is about the extent of my knowledge :) other than I think there was steel, foundries and industry at one time. I remember the town of Bethlehem and thinking "Bethlehem steel".

1:40 my Alma mater. Yes the gym is unique as it has the bounces and its above the ice hockey facility where members of the Miracle of ice team used to play along with multiple future nhl players.
The basketball team used to play a few games year at Agganis Arena (a 6k hockey arena) from like mid 2000s to like 2015 but because of low attendance they move all the games back to the Roof. This in spite of having 30k students. 1st Boston is a pro sports town and college sports are pretty much an afterthought except for college ice hockey. 2nd the location- the university is spread out as it is not setup as a traditional campus.

Great video. Can you please do a CAA (Colonial AA) Basketball Arena video? There are some interesting, unique venues...

Native Annapolitan here, so of course I'm partial to Alumni Hall. However, Reitz Arena will always be special to me because it's where I got my first dunk in a game

Go Navy!!! I grew up near Alumni Hall! So I appreciated seeing downtown Annapolis in the closing part of the video.

Do the WCC, probably the same caliber of arenas...except for Gonzaga!
Also can you do an updated video of the Big 12 and Big 10? A whole lot of moving has happened in the past month!

Other than the additions of Boston University and Loyola from The America East Conference, this conference is basically the mirror competition that the Ivy League typically plays against.

It was created by a suggestion from the Ivy League.

Wasn't Lehigh's mascot the Engineers back in the 80s and 90s? Why did they change it and when if so?
Army and Navy have the best arenas, I can't decide which I like better would have to go in person, Army seems to have more character Navy's just looks solid decent all round.

Please do the British Basketball League. We now have some new arenas and we're not likely to get more new ones any time soon, so it's the ideal time to make that video.

Army is one of four schools to never have played in the men's NCAA Tournament that have been eligible since it started. Army was eligible one year but coach Bobby Knight rejected the bid thinking they'd have a better shot at winning the NIT
