You missed Pan American Stadium which seats 5,000 and is a high school football and developmental soccer team’s stadium. Not much to say about it other than it’s in City Park, the same park as Tad Gormley. Honorable mention to Maestri Field at UNO even though it doesn’t meet the capacity requirement. It hosted minor league baseball in addition to the college team and is named after the longtime coach of the Privateers
Just recently my own team played in the true south playoffs in New Orleans, too bad they didn't put us in the MLR stadium 😂 We played within sight of it though which was neat
At one point, New Orleans was strongly being considered for an MLB expansion club. They even went so far as to play some exhibition games in the Superdome. But then the mid-80s oil bubble popped, and all expansion talks ended virtually overnight. To this day, the city has never really recovered, and Katrina didn't provide any favors.
For a while, the Superdome was sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, while Mercedes-Benz also sponser the Falcons stadium. Mercedes-Benz had their name all over that rivalry.😂
Tad Gormley Stadium has long been a popular concert venue, most famously The Beatles in 1964. It also hosted the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials in 1992. It was home of minor league baseball's New Orleans Pelicans for a few years after their old park, Pelican Stadium, was torn down.
a bit disapointing to be honest. how big is new orleans, the metro area? honest question. i thought there would be better baseball, hockey, soccer, college football arenas...
Hey bro! As someone who wants to go into environmental sciences I absolutely LOVE your videos! I would love to do work with stadiums one day whether that’s help build them or helping to maintain them, and I’m glad there’s a channel that exists that shows off stadiums in a fun way! Keep up the good work man! 🤍

Thanks for mentioning the NOLA Gold MLR.

Thank you for this it's my hometown. I worked at Zephyr Field for four years with memories at the Superdome, SKC, Pontchartrain Center, and TG.
I loving the address for the city in the description
1:13 The United Football League should Bring back the New Orleans Breakers to let them play at Caesars Superdome
Go Jazz City
Feliz Dia de Mardi Gras
Great Video!
Funnily enough, the Superdome can (or at least could) host baseball in a clunky dual use configuation

2:18 We could use a WNBA and NHL team in New Orleans
Go Crescent City
Thank you for doing right by my hometown. But you missed one stadium. Psb America Stadium and high school foottbLl

Would really love an Atlanta area stadium list
Please do Stadiums of Pittsburgh Pa. and Austin Tx. when you get a chance. Thanks.
Superdome hosted 2 WrestleMania, the one 10 years ago where Brock Lesnar defeated the undertaker and ended The Deadman's WrestleMania winning streak
Wish he did more college baseball stadiums
new orleans is pretty cool actually
Two fun facts about Tad Gormley:
1. The Beatles actually played there.
2. Its the stadium used in 22 Jump Street.
That Idi Amin joke was top tier,😂😂😂

Surely the Fair Grounds Race track qualifies
Can you do stadiums of turin? And can i get a shoutout
Next you should do FPHL arenas, considering no one has ever done a video on them at all
1:13 Caesars Superdome: Host of Super Bowls XII, XV, XX, XXIV, XXXI, XXXVI (as Louisiana Superdome), XLVII (as Mercedes-Benz Superdome) and LIX
MLB has a new expansion team in New Orleans!🏟🏟🏟🏟🏟🏟⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚾⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜
The stadiums of Birmingham Alabama!😊❤
I have started on that one. Maybe it'll be done by next week.
Maestri Field is one you missed
not great but I like Devlin Fieldhouse the best. The Neighke joke was hilarious and hurt my chest when I laughed/coughed.
Are you ever going to do Chicago
Yep.
Maybe the state of Louisiana should put less money into stadium and more money into education, crime prevention and helping the poor.
This was just New Orleans, what you're probably mentioning is LSU. They're state funded.

to be clear and fair, both the nfl and the nba arenas look awesome. at least inside

Ok Edi Adim 😂😂😂
Glad I wasn't the only one who caught the Idi Amin joke.😂😂😂
This is Louisiana
Superdome looks boring to me.
