  • A deeply moving and engaging portrait of a Vandemonian tree with the ability to survive blizzards, weep alcohol and bring grown men to tears.
    Nationally renowned Tasmanian landscape painter Philip Wolfhagen painted cider gums for one of his first major exhibitions 20 years ago. He returns to the site to find all of the trees have since died. He embarks on a journey to find healthy trees with the help of botanist Eve Lazarus.
