Newly Opened Hotel Stay At Johor Bahru | St. Giles Southkey Hotel

This week, we are checking out one of the newest hotels in Johor Bahru.
It is part of the Mid Valley Southkey complex and it is called St. Giles Southkey Hotel. Both shopping mall and the hotel are link together through an entrance at level 1.
We booked the Urban King Room at the special promo offer of RM288+(95 SGD). The price is inclusive of complimentary breakfast for 2 persons, hence it's quite a good deal.
The hotel have a total of 28 floors. The swimming pool and gym are located at the highest floor, while breakfast for next day will be at level 6 at the Causeway café.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like the breakfast is standard. Just like most hotels provide. Quite disappointed theres no tim sum (though theres pao). I have yet to come across hotels in Msia serving roti kirai and prata for their breakfast. Only KSL city hotel served prata.

Actually there’s lots of hotels in malaysia that served roti kirai and roti canai(prata) hahah. if you meant JB there is lots of hotels too that provide the mentioned food hahah. For eg Amari hotel, double tree by hilton, holiday inn and much more 🙏

Hi ! We'll usually take a grab car from JB City Square just beside the JB train station. So far it has always cost less than RM10 from JB City Square to The Mall at Mid Valley Southkey. The shopping mall is too large to cover in a video, but I'll be covering 2 popular eateries at this shopping mall itself. Coming up soon in the next few videos, so do keep a look out for it ! =D

I recalled that there is a very large outdoor carpark for the mall. Not sure if there is any underground carpark though.

Hi! The breakfast buffet for 2 pax comes 'complimentary' with the hotel room booking for my case, hence i'm not sure how much it cost if ala carte. =)
