In Kanto, Ash had to get Blastoise

Well Ash already has a Squirtle so it just needs to evolve the Pokemon that Ash should have actually caught in the Kanto region is a Eevee, I still wonder who's idea it was to give Lana a water type trainer a Eevee which doesn't evolve and not give the Ash a Eevee. Ash needs a Espeon by his side since the Pokemon was introduced. In Heonn Ash should have actually caught a Absol. The Pokemon just is perfect for Ash. And he also has gible so it just needs to evolve the Pokemon of sinnoh that Ash should have actually caught is spiritomb. Just imagine Ash is the spiritomb which was sealed inside a stone or something. These are just my opinions. I would have also loved to see Ash catching a Gogoat in kalos cause Ash's kalos team needs type coverage.
I say ash should keep squirtle and not evolve it

wouldnt it have made sense for the game to switch out your pokemon for the team in each region instead of stomping through them with almost max lvl kanto mons?

You do get new ash pokemon in every new region it's just that he doesn't change them
I just deposited everything exept for my pikachu and tried to not use it in my opinion that makes it really fun
I mean, that would help with univoa, especially since he never evolved eny pokemon fully in that region. Also, I played it, and there's a few issues you can't use escape ropes. You can't use the bike unless on cycling road and the level balancing as by the time you reach early joto you would already have a over powerd team you can do some of the movie arcs in it you can catch the legendary birds and in geovonis gym you could catch mewtwo and there's a glitch If you loose the battle after catching mewtwo and go back the game makes you do the mewtwo inconter a second time so you could farm mewtwos and the game goes all the way up to aloha also benefits pokemon that evolve by training can evolve by levelling up in this version those like onix machoke kadabra are all evolved by lvl
@MaxGaborski, actually, that doesn't work with jhoto as brock Misty and Team Rockets pokemon will be high level. It's not till you get to the fird region you can switch out the pokemon you would still need picachu for team rocket but only up to when they release Arbok and wheezing then it should be fine but Jessie would have wabafett so they won't have low level team till univoa
You basically just showed how you can use charizard to smash through the whole franchise of Pokémon
Ye... Charizard and Gyarados look at typings and are like: You thought us being at a disatvantage is going to stop us?
And thats why charizard is still one of the best and deserve a 3rd mega form in pokemon ZA
What Pokémon should Ash have caught? I feel like a Magikarp would have been the perfect thematic Pokemon for him to catch as his second Pokemon, back when Pikachu was still a jerk. Like when they feel into that river in episode 1 the fish boi could have been inspired by how Ash was trying to protect his Pokemon and helped them get back onto shore. Catching himself without Ash realizing until later. Ash’s “Never-Give-Up” attitude in the face of adversity and belief in the potential of all Pokemon would continue to inspire Magikarp to keep trying to help (despite being pretty useless), until eventually evolving halfway or so into Kanto. Gyarados could have been used to help bring Charzard back under control, showing how worthy of a trainer as was. I feel that this change to the OG story would have organically allowed Ash to pull out the win in the tournament at the end of Kanto.
At 8:24, if you were to talk to a person standing at the southeast corner of the city, they will actually be mew, and can join your team. Only after beating the indigo league though. Also, the Mewtwo you fight in Viridian Gym is catchable, especially with the Master Ball you get earlier in Kanto.

its so irritating to watch this whole gameplay mannn, he literally didnt even use its pickachu which is one of the ASH's strongest mon, the whole experience was ruined
when i did my fire ash run, i think i kept the lvl 70 pikachu and always changed teams for each region, it was fun to use the legendaries and new pokemon each region, but overall amazing run only issue for me is the constant use of the op kanto mons that are almost max lvl

Fun Fact: Dragon type was never broken as he mentioned at 14:44 infact they only had 1 dragon move then in gen 1 (he stated it in gen 2) it was Dragon Rage.

They should make a hack like this for Iris, Cynthia, and Gladion. Their stories interest me the most out of both game and anime characters
I’ve always wondered why they never made the games like this. It obviously possible if someone could do it with the GBA games. I guess it wouldn’t make as much money if all the regions in one game? Or if they did this like on some updating forever type game. Imagine. Buying Pokémon once and then DLC for the rest of the regions come out. Not pay to win or play. You just have to buy the new reigons to travel too. I need a updated graphics Pokémon game from ash home town to where he’s at now that would be the best and probably longest rpg experience ever😂

Wouldnt it make more sense using the same pokemon ash did in his fights, because at somepoint your lvl 68 charizard might be too strong for an lvl 16 hariyama...

I think you got this mix up with ash gray which is a rom hack. Even in the early version, this game has always been up to gen 6

El fangame solo llega hasta la Batalla de la Frontera? Yo crei que usarías los Pokemon que Ash tuvo en cada región, y que usarías su equipo, pero vi que mantuviste spameando Charizard y Lapras todo el juego. El juego se veía bien pero cuando vi el bajón de nivel en cada región ya no le vi mucho sentido. Pero este año vi el anime completo y me sorprende lo preciso que es este fangame con los equipos de los combates o con varias cosas que son referencia directa a episodios incluso de relleno

When i played this game few years back i encountered ho-ho on route 1.I was really confused,then i remembered the anime.I still don't know if that was rare or it was common.
Good gameplay but in my opinion pokemon ash gray is wayy better experience because follows every act in the story than what observed from this game. I know it's only till orange islands but it has a wayy better experience..

i have a question about all these ash pokemon Rom hacks, are you programmed to loose the battles that ash lost? like for example in the Vermilion gym is it not possible for you to win in Vermilion gym?
At least in this game, if ash lose you lose. And it's not the kind where you can wipe out and the story still continues. You will still have to win the battle and the dialog after will said that you lose the battle

maybe thats the reason why Gary has 10 badges in that one scene in the Anime? (there's a scene where he shows his badges and there are 10 in his case). Maybe he just already has been to the Orange Islands. I didn't knew about the gym leaders on the island
Problem with that is that Gary doesn't have any Orange Islands badges. We have seen the design of the badges there, and none of them match the extra ones that Gary has.
No, it's actually just because in the anime there are more towns with Gyms than there are in the games, so there are Gym leaders in the anime that we will likely never see in the games.
Nah, in the anime it was shown that there were two new gyms opened side by side who didnt get approval by pokemon league yet so ig gary got two unrecognised gym batches from there !
