As a retired woman welder in the building trades, I constantly used her name(my sigil) and drew it on the back of every single pair of gloves since 1998!! I am in soooooo much debt to her as she would put me on a pedestal throughout my career, gain confidence and overcome petty comments. Thank you, Miss Paula, for her beautiful story ❤ as I am eternal grateful to Brigitte
I am a historian of religion and I have to say it is sooo rare to find someone who talks seriously about her/his own tradition without a egotic and/or superficial approach. Thank you !!
It's a pleasure, I'm watching this video about Goddess Brigid and Mamam Brigitte. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us, Paula! Endless blessings! to you
I'm interested in learning more about deities from Scandinavian, Scottish, and Cherokee backgrounds. I have had so much trouble finding good resources about my ancestors. So many muddle them and mix them.
Good day and thank you so so very kindly for adding Maman Brigitte to this, so so so many skip over this part of her... almost as much as her first stories and life with creatures and blacksmiths. anywho I truly thought I made that part up in mixing the two and now you also added it. so bows head and thank you. (many years since first she came to me in a random hands to keys and search, now I feel very connected to her) that she did go in to the Maman story lines. ♣
Ahhhh! I am so freaking excited lady! I have been looking for some in depth videos on the deities!! Yea! Just found you and can't wait to check you out!
I honor Brigid in her aspect of the Celtic Pantheon, not her aspect as Madame Brigid in Voudoun. She doesn’t seem to have a problem with it. People get so worked up over “appropriating” deities and practices, but if they call it’s in your best interest to answer. If they call you to a specific path, it’s best to follow because they are trying to impart clarity or knowledge to you. Brightest blessings to you
I love all things to do with the goddess Brigid, however I did find myself stopping the video just short of the 5 minute mark. You have a tendency to say "okay" in places where it really isn't needed. Probably an unconscious habit--but it did grate on the ear just a smidge and was a distraction from the good information you were sharing.

okay!
Thank you for this! I still am a bit confused as to whether I can call on or work with her due to hearing that I can’t because of vodou religion 😔

@@TheWitchesCauldron I agree! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. ❤️❤️ BB
A lot of history and information in a short amount of time. I felt what was discussed. Intense.
In Voudu we do not take anything from the cemetery home. Leave those rocks alone
One of my matron Goddesses. Thank you for this video!
I’m honestly surprised she’s not considered as a love goddess by more people because of her association with birth and fertility
Please please please do a reading on Diane from Diane's Channel for all of us!@!!
That intro tho!!! LEGIT
Brigid is both an Irish Deity and a Voodoo Deity Mama Brigid wife of Samodi. Samodi is the Voodoo God of Death.
* Lwa of Death
I think Brigid has been calling me since childhood but only now am I’m looking at paganism
