    +Bronwyn Rhodes If I recall correctly it was around 30-45min. I was getting tired and wanted to go to bed, so I hooked up a hair dryer at the end. Hence why it speeds up....

    0:27 Watch the water stop rising. Now, tell me more about global warming.

    • @skiclimbbikesail
      @skiclimbbikesail  7 лет назад +16

      Sure. Much like the polar ice caps, once the ice cubes are submerged in water, the level will stop rising. If that were to happen to earth's ice caps, most major coastal cities would be underwater and uninhabitable.

      The ice in Antarctica is not floating on water. It's on the land.
      If you want to make a comparison it's like if you get that glass, once it's melted and you pour it into another glass.
      Let me know if the water level rises or not.

    Good day! My name is Nicole Fernandez, a Grade 10 student from the Philippines. I'm currently working on a research project and I'm in need of science videos like this. If it's okay, I would like to ask for permission to use your video. I give my complete assurance that I will credit your channel or whatever or whoever you say should be credited. May I?

    • @skiclimbbikesail
      @skiclimbbikesail  8 лет назад

      It was a black cloth behind, and bright video lights to make the glass and ice pop out.
      Then in post, the black background is darkened further.
