Hi, I am a crocheter with R.A. and fibromyalgia. I am so glad to know someone else who uses crochet to keep you going. I have found that more people are in need of some small piece of joy to keep them going. I have started posting prayers and talking about my day along with what I am crocheting, just to let others know they are not alone in this journey. So keep posting, hope you have a good day or just a moment to smile

I add a third row in granny square (hexagon) fashion and use them as gift card/cash holders. My 20 something grandchildren love receiving them, not for how adorable the mini stocking is, but for what Nana has put inside.

    • @JaydaInStitches

Hi Dee, if you want the colours to match up perfectly, you may have to cut your yarn on the new ball at the very same colour spot that your last ball left off, connect the ends (knot them, or join them in any way you like) and continue on :)

My mom tried to teach me how to do a granny square. I started out right but somehow I turned it around and went back the way I started. She finally gave up trying to teach me. I used to ask her did she want me to make here an granny square vest. She would laugh and say no. She couldn't wear it. I know she is watching in heaven and laughing. I may try it again. She would ask me how did I get it turned around. I would laugh and say I don't know.
