I was in a major hitting slump recently. Pretty much getting underneath everything resulting in a lot of pop fly outs. A week before a double header I decided to find out what was wrong and correct it because I was not going to waste two games hitting like crap. Did plenty of research and discovered posture and tilt was what was missing from my swing mechanics. Worked on it the weekend before the double header and on game night I hit so well I couldn't believe I was me. It was a huge transformation from the previous week. I hit a home run in my first at bat in game 1 of the double header. From there I was spraying hard hit line drives to all fields. I stayed on fire in game 2. In total I went 7 for 8. The 1 time I got out was on a well hit line drive to the gap in right field. The centerfielder made a desperate diving catch and somehow made the play. My point is posture and tilt are definitely the key to consistent powerful swing!
One of the things I like about your discussions/dissection man is you take a complex action like hitting and not over complicate it with a lot of terminology lol. I watch watching a hitting video the other day and I swear I had to break out the dictionary/thesaurus and maybe even a Science/Math Book. Good thing I was able to translate what they were saying mentally but I can only imagine a young kid trying to understand what they were saying lol. Anyways good stuff as usual 👊🏾💪🏾
Just another incredible video with a perfectly described explanation that is easy to understand and makes complete sense. Thanks coach!
Many thanks! Appreciate you watching
this is gold! thank you for your channel and videos, your understanding and explanantion of hitting is secong to NONE

Thanks for another great instructional video. I need to get a PVC pipe
Money! Great breakdown.
Great video. My son sets his spine angle in his stance and then just loads and strides. Any negatives to setting the spine angle early?
Actually a really good way to do it!
So much crap out there. This will be one of the main video I show my youngsters when fall ball starts.
Thanks man
