Thanks pxlbarrel for posting this storyline. I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was so well acted featuring all my favorite GH characters/actors. I really wish GH was this good today. It was such a dynamic, special show. It's easy to see why we all loved it so much. It was as good as we remembered-even better! Thankfully we have this rich history that you so generously shared with all of us. Thanks again!
Thank you so much for posting this storyline. I really enjoyed it. I actually was sad when I saw that this was the final clip. I really enjoyed my 1 hour each night watching. Thanks again.
PXL...I FINALLY watched the whole thing from beginning to end...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for taking the time to clip and post this wonderful s/l. THIS was GH at it's best when the MAJORITY of the charzcters were used to capacity...with great character development and excellent writing. Man Do I Miss those days.
What a great storyline! To think, this was only 26 years ago. It's a shame what General Hospital has become. Thanks a lot for this! It took me two days to watch this all and they were a great two days!
When Tolliver stumbled into Jimmy Lee's arms, he gave the papers to him. He sealed it into the wall at the university center he was working on. In one of my other clips (Alan and Monica argue about Jason), we see that there's a fire at the university center and the papers are destroyed.
I came to this video to explore more on Anna Lee. I read that she was paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident, but I don't know if that's the case. She had a can early on in the late 70's and in 1981, so I'm thinking more of a degenerative hip condition. She took a step or two here, so it seems she wasn't paralyzed. But, I adore and respect her for working as long as she did with a difficult medical condition - whatever it was. She was such a solid character, and I miss her.
Thank you so much for posting all these wonderful clips!! I was born in '86 and I have never been a GH fan because of the crap what it is nowadays, but this clips made me fall in love with the real GH!!! Let's hope the OLTL team will give some of it s old glory to GH ;)
[cont'd] Monica says all is fine, Alice can take care of Jason but Alan objects. Best lines: Edward: Well, what about the trust? Alan: Do you EVER think of ANYTHING ELSE besides money? And I'd like to add my thanks to Pxlbarrel for doing this. A great story. It's interesting that Jason ended up a violent criminal, considering his mother dies from a violent act. And that is my sole comment on modern "GH"! As for Scotty and Heather, they break up while Heather is scheming to get Jason.
Edward is not into this stuff. In case you haven't noticed, Lila is wearing A TON of lipstick! Never figured out why they had her wear so much. Makes kissing hard to do without major smudging.
bah, I did it again...I removed somebody's comment when I meant to reply to it. The comment was...did anybody else recognize the judge? I'll let somebody else answer it. Sorry to whomever I deleted. They need to move the reply button away from the remove.
@TheOriginalSupreme only 26 years ! that's a REALLY long time. abc stood by their soaps as the ratings dropped by eighty plus percent... we've been lucky to have the shows as long as we have.
This judge looks and sounds just like Philip Baker Hall, who played Lt. Bookman on the "Library" episode of Seinfeld ... though imdb doesn't confirm this.
The wedding is the final scene on Thursday, March 24. If I were Grant and Celia, I'd wonder why I was not invited to the "reaffirmation". And on the following Monday Jimmy Lee stops by "to drop off something". The three Q's just bend over backwards giving him coffee and kissing up. Only then does he admit he stopped by to return Grant's clothes. "Of all the gall!" Edward storms. Afterwards, Lee stops by and they talk about Jason.

Thanks so much for posting these! This was great to watch. :D
loved it and you are right the current cast can really learn something by watching this.
Thank you very much indeed for posting!
Man, May props to pxlbarrel for bringing back memories for me. I watched this back when I was a teenager. Thank you..
The look exchanged by Edward & Alan when the preacher says "forsaking all others" is PRICELESS!
thank you for posting all of these *MUAH*

Awww. Doesn’t anyone find this utterly adorable?
She was the heart and soul of GH.
What's the matter Edward you don't want to remarry Lila? :) No kissing on the lips Edward? :) Thank you pxlbarrel for putting this storyline up!!! :)
I don't want this to end.
Wow! I didn't start watching the show until late 1992 and I've never seen Lila out of her wheelchair.
Edward is not into this stuff.
In case you haven't noticed, Lila is wearing A TON of lipstick! Never figured out why they had her wear so much. Makes kissing hard to do without major smudging.
Watch these clips "General Hospital -1983 Monica Argues with Alan about Jason 1 "
Joe Bookman
Yes, it was mentioned in an earlier comment already.

Many years later...he was the library cop on Seinfeld! I recognized that voice right away.
She comes to town in...1984 I think.
OK...why was Edward being so "put out"?! LOL! And the LEAST he could have done was to give Lila a kiss on the lips! Geez!! LOL!
that sux.. u cant post the end??????

For some reason all the other comments weren't expanded ... now I see there are all these other comments! Sorry about that.

Wouldn't Lila and Edward getting married be a good thing by nullifying the threat of the papers?

@DENLUVVER She's gorgeous! it's amazing.
