I only have Imperium and love it !! Such a great all year fragrance and love the depth ,freshness and richness to this scent and this lasts me 8-12 hours !
First time I wore this I applied it in the morning and thought it died out at 4 hours but 10 hours later I met a friend and she commented how good I smelled. So like Aventus it’s easy to go nose blind to.
This also has easily cracked my top 5 most complimented frags in a short amount of time owning this and I was super surprised by that considering the price !
(Also to note first time I sprayed this it had a paint type note that was off putting but after letting it set for 2 weeks this smelled much better and more rich in smell )

Any new shave soaps? You use to do wet shaving stuff. I think many frag heads are missing out on all the scents shave soaps deliver that no colognes offer. There are hundreds of unique scents out there is the shave world that don't smell like a cologne. It's another rabbit hole I'm in as bold headed guy but I'm loving it.

Fragrance world Imperium is sold by a more affordable price.
AFFORDABLE is my favorite note in any cologne.
I am pretty delighted with the overall scent profile and performance of IMPERIUM.
I checked the current prices in discounters in the US.
Trillium is sold in the upper $40s
Imperium is sold in the lower $20s
Whaterver Trillium is offering on dollar per ounce, it is not TWICE as good as Imperium.
I can't justify paying the double for a player that does the job on the same level of the cheaper one.
... and I cannot consider even on the last instance, paying whatever Roja Parfums asks for Elysium.

I bought imperium last week I’m a huge fan of it many people say it doesn’t last long but I sprayed it on my shirt and the next day when i was still able to smell it on my shirt for 24$ I say it’s a good everyday scent
Same for me, I've never sampled trillium or any of the others I have a bottle of elysium and imperium. Imperium is pretty darn close, and It lasts on my skin about as long as elysium.

Hey Ross! How do these 2 stack up against HB Reversed? One of my favorites.
I have HB reversed and Divin Asylum and I much prefer Divin Asylum. It smells much more premium. It’s also a much smoother and effervescent. The HB the Vetiver is is definitely louder.
Great job toward the review. I have Trillium and it smells very nice. That "clean and fresh" vibe scent. Gotta love a freshie. It performs ok. Between 5-6 hours tops on clothes. Much less on skin. Imperium sounds interesting 🤔.
I have Divin Asylum and yes it smells awesome but it doesn’t make a full 8 hours work day either. I haven’t tried out out Imperium or Trillium though.

I picked up imperium and I like it alot. It is an easy scent to like and wear. I enjoy it

Imperium lasts around 1 hour on me. Maybe 2 hour if i really sniff to catch any smell if some left. I wonder how much youre spraying to get 3-4 hour... 25+?
It does smells so good. But longevity is just lowest a perfume can have. Its strength at the level of a cheap $3 cologne
Number of sprays doesn't increase longevity and your experience is nothing like mine.

I got rid of most dupe only kept trillium as its fantastic for gym,all i need 1-2 hours there
Never tried OG but had tiny sample of Roja elysium intense which surprisingly i smelled on for 8 hours easily and hunting bargain bottle now
Which other dupes did you try and why did you prefer trillium more???

Ross how old is your Imperium bottle? 🤔 My bottle is 4 weeks old now and is still weak. It has improved to 30 minutes projection but is gone after 1hr. The only way it lasts is if I spray heavy on my clothes or reapply. 😢
Do you use/apply unscented cream before spraying the fragrance??? I see a lot of differences in performance & projection if I don't. You can use ISO E super (Molecule 01 or other brands) if you want to boost it.
I heard letting some fragrances sit for atleast 6months helps

I know you usually don't do layering, but you could have the best of both worlds with 1 spray of imperium & 2 sprays of trillium on top of it. They are about the same fragrance. Just a thought that crossed my mind 🤯.

great video thank you - been looking for ages for a genuine comparison video - I love both , but for me the performance is so weak , yes its fresher and I'm like you prefer the scent , but I need it to perform , I don't want to re up etc... all the time , also cost , in the UK trillium is 50 USD vs Imperium = 24 USD , so for me I would buy Imperium now out of the 2
I use the Imperium as my gym fragrance these days
I swear, these clones certainty stepped their game up. Bottles look legit, performance sounds legit, same with the scent.
Pretty solid bang for your buck option.

I have Elysium and bought Imperium to extend the life of the OG. It’s a damn good clone and my bottle has pretty decent longevity.

@@raulvz i'd say 90%, especially for the first 3-4 hours. Most reviews tend to agree, and since it's cheap enough, it's a safe blind buy going by all reviews. Only thing is longevity can vary from batch to batch. Mine seems to last about 5-6 hours, then it just completely disappears. Hope that helps!

I bought Imperium back when it was selling for $50 and now it's closer to $30...dammit! 😂😂 That's ok, I still very much enjoy the scent. I haven't smelled Trillium yet so I can't make a comparison myself. Thanks for making this video to shed some light on the subject.

Imperium smells like that watery hand sanitizer that was everywhere during Covid to me. Kind of mezcal vibe.

Genuine answer from a person who owns both: neither. They both smell incredibly cheap and terrible. They are nowhere near Elysium in terms of how they smell
Your opinion , but for the price you are paying on these cheapies, I can't really complain about quality. I had Elysium before, and much like Tom Fords Neroli Portifino which I own, if I had to re do this, I wouldn't buy the expensive ones. These types of scent profiles, I would not pay premium money for anymore.
@@icemanbrfc Not really when they smell nothing like the real thing. Trillium is closer but only in the citrus aspect. There is no earthiness at all. Imperium is far too dense and harsh. It is a dense, ugly chemical vetiver and that is it. Imperium smells awful. Divin Asylum is the only clone I've tried which actually smells like Elysium. I own all three
@@icemanbrfc Portfolio Neroli Canvas by Al Haramain is significantly better than TF NP in terms of both concentration and longevity. I'd highly recommend it. I also own 4711 and Porto Neroli. Neroli Canvas is the best of the bunch. I used to own TF NP and NPF but got rid of them because the Al Haramain is simply better
