Fun fact:
In the japanese orginal, Hibari has a linguistic style called "Hiroshima-dialect".
Since the only other character in all of One Piece to have this linguistic style is Akainu, people are theorizing that Hibari is Akainu's daughter.
Which would make her crush on Coby all the more ironic.

My theory is that something crazy happened on Akainu's island when he was a kid. Just like one of the atomic bombs happened in Hiroshima. Possibly not even pirate's fault but someone who didn't follow the rules caused it. That's why he is so 100% strict with rules.
Not to mention, a hibari is a pink rose, which Akainu has tattoos of on his arm. He also wears a rose on his suit jacket.
Another interesting thing I just realized though is he also weirdly has a sword tattoo?
Koby is like Garp's Grandson that he never had and dreamed of ... a young lad with strong sense of justice and wanted to be a strong marine

That was a fan coloring. Everyone thought it was purple. Thats why the anime didnt look familiar at all. Because it was yellow

@@itsme558 if we think about it as yellow then it looks more like an explosion. oda tells the colors to the one piece team. so in oda's mind he drew it thinking it is going to be yellow. so it looks more like an explosion when you read the black and white manga keeping yellow in mind

GALAXY IMPACT!!!!! WHAT A PHENOMENAL SCENE!!!!!
I find interesting that Shanks and Garp basically demonstrate 2 very different uses off extremely powerful haki.
Shanks was focused and calculated while Garp was explosive and wild.
Yep garp attack is a hollow one as you said, destroyed a couple buildings within a small area, same as we've seen done by luffy like when beating crocodile in alabasta, and knocked out some fodders inside that small circle, it was just a show off from garp to hype the audience up, Oda did this because this is Garp's final moments in the story and he needed a big entrance that looks huge but is actually hollow inside, to parallel whitebeard to some extent, as Oda loves old man.
Brother, now we can see for real that the bonks Garp used to give Luffy really were the softest love taps he could give hahahahahahaha
Egghead is the first arc of the final saga. Whereas in the past, the story mostly follows the strawhat's adventures going from one island to another, this time, major events are occuring everywhere around the world. The story is driven not just by the main characters' crew, but also secondary characters. This is why it feels so different. All the characters on the chess board are now moving towards the endgame.

So, there are a couple of things to know that may get lost in either translation or adaptation. Hibari speaks the same dialect as Sakazuki. And they are the only two in the series who speak that dialect. So that’s led to the theory that she is his daughter. Hibari also has a crush on Koby because, on a mission, he goes back and saves that little plushie bear in her backpack. Vegapunk, Caesar, Queen, Judge, and the original Stussy were part of a science group called MADS. That’s why Caesar, Queen, and Judge are in the background of that shot of Vegapunk winning that award. The cover story “Germa’s Emotionless Excursion” ends with Judge and Caesar reforming the group under the name Neo MADS.
After all this time. Sengoku didn't save akainu, he saved marineford

So the funny thing about Hibari (the girl who has a crush on Koby) is that she might be Akainu's daughter. They are the only two characters in the series that speak in the same specific dialect, and have lots of unexpected flower imagery (with Hibari's flower bullets and Akainu's flower adorned Hawaii shirt). It's not confirmed, but it's really funny to speculate.

Do you notice how it runs in the Monkey D family? Garp’s attack is a top down punch and Luffy’s Bajrang gun against Kaido is in the same style.
