my advice as a military wife is if you dont have any training or college education go get a degree or cert. as something you can transfer or do as you move from city to city.
I am a military wife. I do have some college education background. I went to school and like to continue to work with my American Sign Language skills. Plus medical receptionist I have a skill in. I come from a medical/ nursing background of family. I went to school for my CNA , but did not pass the state exam. But I have schooling in that as well. ASL is my first choice. I want to work with kids who are special needs. I was a special needs student through my whole life. And that is my passion for right now. But also I would like to try working in a medical doctors office. We will see.
My boyfriend is leaving for basic in January and I’ve been trying to find something I can move with and I’m starting graphic design courses in November so hearing your story makes me feel so much better! Thank you for posting! ❤️

Ever since Justin joined the AF everyone keeps asking me, "what are you going to do?" "Are you going to work?" BLAH BLAH BLAH. I totally agree if you push yourself you will find a job- even if it takes some time! I get nervous as we prepare for our first move but I am trying to keep my head focused and know that when we get to our first duty station I can find something!
God willing hubby will graduate BC this October and 3weeks+ school and it’s time to move to our first duty station. This video is very helpful!!! Thanks Brit! 😘💙⚓️
Oh my gosh this video helped me out sooo much because I've been thinking about what if I graduate with a foresic science major and I'm unable to find a job on the base that we're stationed in. So thank you so much this did give me a sense of peace. God Bless you

Thank you for share this video. In few weeks from now I have to move to stay with my fiance in Japan. And I am so worry about what I can do at there. I am not american so my english is not too good as well. But I will not give up.
I left college as a junior. That university didn’t offer associates degree but I know I have the requirements. I have dreams to be a singer and actress despite the fact my boyfriend and I talk about marriage a lot. Music and acting are my passions but college didn’t help those things. I’m terrified now because all you talked about were degrees.
Why didn't you go to a school for acting and or music then? Also degrees are important it's hard to find a comfortable job without a degree unless you have plenty of experience.

Watched this video Monday and it put Military spouse job search in “God’s perspective” I was definitely stressing over nothing since we’ve only been stations here 3 months. Any who the next day I got a call for an interview that I had today. Normally I would stress but now I’m feeling more like if it’s meant to be I will get it if not the right one is around the corner. So I guess u helped at least one person
