I'm shocked and surprised at how well Flora is able to communicate in Mandarin and even more impressed that you seem to be able to read Chinese?! As a fellow Chinese Canadian, I only learned to (partially) read after spending a few years in China, so this is just so amazing to me that you can do all this....not to mention speak perfect Cantonese.

Unfortunately, I got really sick in Shangri-La so we couldn't film. My body couldn't adapt to the high altitude so we left after a couple days. We'll try again next time.
We think WeChat is more popular but sometimes only AliPay worked for some vendors… so definitely register for both just in case. Keep some cash on you too 👍

Hi. Tried setting up WeChat. Need to ask when you say bank card, do you mean like credit card or atm card? Am I able to transfer money out from WeChat account back to my bank account?😅
Sorry we didn’t track expenses for the whole trip but we did add the prices of things when we purchased them in the video. The visa depends what passport you’re carrying.
I'll guess one reason so many inland tourist are older in China is 55 for female in 60 for male, quite early compare to the West, plus it's more affordable vs the West!

Yes, we flew the drone in our videos. You can fly a drone in many places in China but just have to make sure to check the local drone laws.

We booked a shared car from our home stay in Wangxian Valley to go back to Shangrao Train Station and took the train from there to Guilin.

We spent 28 days in China but we travel slow because we work and film so we typically spend 2-4 days in one place.
