    1:48:16 this game is the most important game of the final, Sofia has a true champions mind, to get out of that pressure and win the next 3 games for the title is Novak Djokovic like, salute to her for this play

    3rd set, 2 all, 40 luv down. 3 straight winners, an ace and another winner to hold. nobody can argue that’s just insane 👌

    • @roybaty7439

      And Mugu wasn't playing badly at that time.

    • @bqnanaaa4838

      Roy Baty yes. I do think Muguruza could have done something, because I think she had 2 second serves, and she didn’t really do anything with them. Once kenin extends the rallies, it tipped in her favor.

    • @roybaty7439
      @roybaty7439 4 года назад +3

      @@bqnanaaa4838 Mugu started playing aggressively once Kenin got to 30-40. She did everything she could from then on and was hitting well, deep into the corners but Kenin just played better. Maybe at 0-40 and 15-40 Mugu could have been more aggressive but since Kenin had errors her first 3 points, why not wait for another (which never came).

      @@bqnanaaa4838 I agree. Garbine could and should have performed better. Not taking anything way from Sofia's game, just saying Garbine did not play the second and third sets her usual fashion.

    l Love that in the second set it was Kenin Sofia who was relaxed and started pushing Muguruza around like a boss!
    You'd think it was Sofia who won the first set and not Muguruza.

    The shot at 2:01:04 to set up the winner is sick. It's so good that you forget that she just used the same shot--twice--to set up the winner in her previous service game, the iconic comeback at 2-2 1:53:34

    Names of the two commentators, please. Their voices sound so familiar, but their names are never mentioned. This should be a mandatory announcement at some point of the video, n'est ce pas, mate? As an aside, no doubt, one of the pleasures of this exciting video is to get the very insightful comments of the lady commentator whose melodious voice has the charm of plunging us easily into the Australian ambiance of the match..

    I love Kenin and wish she would start doing better, but Garbine is my girl and I wish she would have won this.
    Kenin winning has absolutely Nothing to do with "a true champions mind" as a brainless comment says, like no one else wants to win and be champion.
    Things simply happen. Congrats to Sofia.

    I wonder if it was Venus or Serena on the other side would Garbine have had more fight in her? Seems like she went for broke against the two of them. Kenin and Osaka fight no matter who's on the other side.

    The coach and father of Sofia Kenin found a way to help out if his daughter is under-performing in one such match in tennis. If his daughter is losing, he moves to a seat right next to the coach of the opposing player without social distancing. This disturbs the tennis opponent of Kenin so much that she starts getting distracted and the opponent starts losing against Kenin.

    really, either of these women - rock-solid forehands, blazing backhands, devastating serves, brilliant netplay - could cut a swath thru the men's tour. Since we all now understand that gender (like race) is just a social construct, it's long past time to allow (indeed, require) women to participate in the mens' events and (to preserve gender equity) men to participate in the women's events. The results would be amazing and would, no doubt, validate contemporary woke socio-biological theory.
