1:48:16 this game is the most important game of the final, Sofia has a true champions mind, to get out of that pressure and win the next 3 games for the title is Novak Djokovic like, salute to her for this play
Roy Baty yes. I do think Muguruza could have done something, because I think she had 2 second serves, and she didn’t really do anything with them. Once kenin extends the rallies, it tipped in her favor.
@@bqnanaaa4838 Mugu started playing aggressively once Kenin got to 30-40. She did everything she could from then on and was hitting well, deep into the corners but Kenin just played better. Maybe at 0-40 and 15-40 Mugu could have been more aggressive but since Kenin had errors her first 3 points, why not wait for another (which never came).
@@bqnanaaa4838 I agree. Garbine could and should have performed better. Not taking anything way from Sofia's game, just saying Garbine did not play the second and third sets her usual fashion.
l Love that in the second set it was Kenin Sofia who was relaxed and started pushing Muguruza around like a boss! You'd think it was Sofia who won the first set and not Muguruza.
The shot at 2:01:04 to set up the winner is sick. It's so good that you forget that she just used the same shot--twice--to set up the winner in her previous service game, the iconic comeback at 2-2 1:53:34
She should learn to volley, and add a bit of variety to her game. As it is right now, she is way too one-dimensional to really make an impact on the tour.
This was an excellent final but it would had been even better with a Muguruza win. Can you please upload the Muguruza - Halep semifinal game? Pleaseeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
Names of the two commentators, please. Their voices sound so familiar, but their names are never mentioned. This should be a mandatory announcement at some point of the video, n'est ce pas, mate? As an aside, no doubt, one of the pleasures of this exciting video is to get the very insightful comments of the lady commentator whose melodious voice has the charm of plunging us easily into the Australian ambiance of the match..
They mentioned their names at the beginning Louise Flemming (I think is the woman who was pulling for Mugu) but all in all these Aussie announcers were much better than the American Tennis channel announcers.
Still the best hold of serve y'all will ever see, especially when Sonya had to come back down love 40 in game 5 tied two all. That game propelled Sonya to a championship victory.!🇺🇸🎾💪
Is there a reason the crowd is so muted by the end? These are some of the mildest cheers I've ever heard for a champion closing it out. Do they dislike her or just really like her opponent?
I love Kenin and wish she would start doing better, but Garbine is my girl and I wish she would have won this. Kenin winning has absolutely Nothing to do with "a true champions mind" as a brainless comment says, like no one else wants to win and be champion. Things simply happen. Congrats to Sofia.
I wonder if it was Venus or Serena on the other side would Garbine have had more fight in her? Seems like she went for broke against the two of them. Kenin and Osaka fight no matter who's on the other side.
Actually Kenin seems to play better against the established stars, is less motivated if she's expected to win, but always seems to fight back when she's down.
Simple prediction, Kenin Sofia is going to become the new #1 player in the world soon. Her game is just way too good and at a much higher level than most female players.
The coach and father of Sofia Kenin found a way to help out if his daughter is under-performing in one such match in tennis. If his daughter is losing, he moves to a seat right next to the coach of the opposing player without social distancing. This disturbs the tennis opponent of Kenin so much that she starts getting distracted and the opponent starts losing against Kenin.
really, either of these women - rock-solid forehands, blazing backhands, devastating serves, brilliant netplay - could cut a swath thru the men's tour. Since we all now understand that gender (like race) is just a social construct, it's long past time to allow (indeed, require) women to participate in the mens' events and (to preserve gender equity) men to participate in the women's events. The results would be amazing and would, no doubt, validate contemporary woke socio-biological theory.
Dear Sofia Lenin I am your fan in tennis and believe me that I watched this finals in my mobile at least fifty times and I am mad for your tennis. You are still so young and it's appreciated you won the title of A.O. recent and I am praying lord Jesus you should get many more titles. Kindly share your contact number to speak with you and I am from INDIA and my name is Ms. Lakshmi.

3rd set, 2 all, 40 luv down. 3 straight winners, an ace and another winner to hold. nobody can argue that’s just insane 👌
And Mugu wasn't playing badly at that time.
Roy Baty yes. I do think Muguruza could have done something, because I think she had 2 second serves, and she didn’t really do anything with them. Once kenin extends the rallies, it tipped in her favor.

I love kenin. She just has a swagger. It's unique.
When I need inspiration I watch game 5 of the third set.
Great final and also a great comeback by Muguruza. After some setbacks, she was able to get back into a Grand Slam final again!
She is a great player but she's also irregular
@@paulgermain5354 kenin done it

Fearless Sofia..
In the Language of Swahili..

( Fantastic )
Sophia was a delight to watch, she played her game of tennis and won..
5th game final set! legendary. cannot get better!
skip to 8:16 for the match
Sofia kenin is the new tennis sensation.
You think 🤔🤷
She should learn to volley, and add a bit of variety to her game. As it is right now, she is way too one-dimensional to really make an impact on the tour.
Sophia I just love you, you're such a star 🌟
Thank you
Sonya,
serving, down love 40, tied two all third set, the game changer of the match and the best of the short 2020 tennis season.
Sofia always plays so relaxedly.

Its not easy to greet your opponent with a smile after loosing the final.
It's easier if you've already won two grand slams
Can you upload Thiem vs Nadal or Kyrgios vs Khachanov AO 2020
Great performance.Congrats to Sofia 👏🏆🎉❤️
Really good win from kenin, like the American racquet too
French racquet with American stripes, Wilson is American.
@@roybaty4785 yea I was talking about the American pattern

Please do Federer vs Nishikori or Wawrinka 2017 next, both were great matches

I would guess because it ended on a double fault, which is a 'flat' way to end a match.
i like sofia kenin.she played really well in this match.
Halep Kerber 2018 please
Men’s final please 😄
I prefer women to men🎾
Please Pliskova vs. Williams or Willans vs. Wang.
I was for Mugu but congratulations Sofia !
feels like both announcers favor G M
I think the man (Peter) was pretty impartial and gave good comments about Kenin, better than the American tennis channel announcers
Federer vs Nishikori 2017 plz
Do a alex bolt vs domonic thiem next pls
que pena Garbiñe , bueno no siempre se gana pero ya van 4 finales de GS y eso es solo para pocas

The announcer, she can't make three shots in a row it's statistically impossible, Sonya made five ! 🤭

She should be number 1 now, she has more points in 2020 than anyone, but they changed the formula for this lockdown year.

Kenin has gorgeous legs
I think Fila gave Kenin her clothes a size too small.. maybe it was on purpose, lol
Really sad to see that one won due to many unforced errors…
An excellent match and one won.....and lost in the mind.
I don't know what Muguruza saw in Martinez as a coach.
Martinez was a very intelligent player!
What's Sofia saying at 2:01:32? Looks like "something something fucking point"
