The brighter color lululemons are generally priced cheaper and the neutrals are more. I noticed the pattern when you were flipping through pants and tops.
When you’re buying striped or patterned garments, always look to see if the stripes etc line up across seams, shoulders, pockets etc. If they do, the garment has been better made than when they do not. That black and white jacket’s stripes didn’t line up, so I’m glad you didn’t buy it.
Our thrift store prices here in Canada are NUTS! I always envy those who live where their thrift stores are actually affordable.... like $4.99 affordable T_T
Jenna Phipps I seriously subscribed to you when you had 250 subscribers and you’ve gotten so many more in such little time. I’m amazed 😭 your videos are amazing!!! Congratulations ❤️❤️
I bought a bunch of stuff from a cheaper thrift shop this past year but it all got stolen and now I have to come back to Vancouver with the pricey places ;-;
Just found your channel! Subscribed right away! 😊 Thrift store prices are insane. Greed has taken over Savers and Goodwill. I'm Canadian and live in the States and the prices here have gotten out of control over the past year. For donated, used stuff. 🤨 I go online to Thred Up alot now, it's way cheaper! And Ross stores here carry all the coveted brands like Adidas, Calvin, Tommy etc for less and it's brand new! Thrifting has become such a scam which is so sad because it was so fun and exciting! Hopefully people will stop going as much and they will lower the prices back to where they should be!
Which location is that in Vancouver? I've been here two years but still not sure which location is the most reliable for good finds. Also that moment when a pair of high waisted pants from the thrift store fit perfectly, what a great feeling haha, happy for you! And pricing at Value Village in general is definitely getting out of hand, but I've never seen anything like that jewellery section, holy.
👀👀👀 Crazy as it is horrendous one in North Coquitlam I am quite sure...horrible there. I don't think there is a 'be all end all' location any longer. Better to support Salvation Army rather than the American owned conglomerate Val.Vlge.
I live in southern California and the pricing is pretty similar to goodwill and savers down here, exept for the jewelry, I've never taken a close look at the "fine" jewelry available but I dont think I've seen anything like that, even designer peices priced for over 1000 lol, considering alot of private jewelry designers price their brand new peices with real gems and gold or silver around those prices, that was a bit of a reach, I get its probably vintage but it's also probably tarnished and they got it donated!!!
Aww I would love to see u try on those amazing libertys and dickies overalls. I really am enjoying these vids. I love ur dedication to thrifting. Keep doing those I wanna see more 😊😊
i dont look for brands, i look for things that are tagless, aka homemade. there's someone in my area that is knitting sweaters, tuques, mitts, and scarves and they are amazing. also a lot of homemade clothes (think long skirts that were probably made by Muslim girls when long skirts arent in fashion), and they are the friggen best quality and so much care goes into them
And I thought the $899 bag I found was insanely priced lol ... I would Literally yell at them for being out of their cock a doodle minds pricing things like that .... did they all of a sudden become a consignment store? An antique store? Are they a subsidiary of Hermes perhaps? My blood is boiling lol
Omgggg sooo expensive like do they think their stores are expensive like who do they think they are if anyone wants something expensive they'll go to a fashion store like OMGG 🙄😒😤
Super cool editing. Found you yesterday, subscribed today. Is this Vancouver Canada? Washington State? Was wondering if those are Canadian prices, cause that would make (slightly) more sense. We have .99 cent men’s T shirts here at my local Salvation Army (Texas) . Makes flipping very profitable with little risk.
Those prices are crazy! Especially because all of the items were donated.
Right!!!! It's crazy!
Jenna Phipps Are you Canadian? I find our pricing here in thrift stores is MUCH higher than the states. It’s insane.
Racheal Pressey yes I am! Yeah I have heard that too!

Seems like you should try reselling to support your thrifting finds. The Nike shirt...the color makes your eyes pop. It's a good color for you.
Thank you! I really need to get rid of some of my thrifted clothes, my closet is exploding 😂

Girl! Congratulations on how fast your channel has grown! So awesome!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Awh thank you so much!
What size do you look for when thrifting men jeans?? I can never seem to find the right size :(
I am typically a 25/26 in women's jeans and I look for 29/30 in men's jeans. This can vary a bit depending on the fit I want.
measure your waist and give yourself +/-3 inches for womens jeans and +/-5 for mens...its not bulletproof but it usually works for me
I don't get why people care so much about brands..
She resells stuff too so she kinda has to.
Because of the quality.
This video makes me want to go thrifting so badly!
I am sooo glad it did ❤️

You should check out the thrift stores in White Rock and Langley 😃
Thank you for the recommendation ❤️
Could you ask the cashier if they could reduce the price because of the stains? Maybe whoever was pricing them didn’t see the stain or something!
Like: Ikeda tee, Adidas tee, Victory sweatshirt, Talula white blazer
Aww I would love to see u try on those amazing libertys and dickies overalls. I really am enjoying these vids. I love ur dedication to thrifting. Keep doing those I wanna see more 😊😊
Which VV did you go to? I'm also based in Vancouver and haven't seen prices that high before.
I’m from Vancouver Washington in the states and I thought you were talking about my Vancouver 😔😔
I want those Tommy Hilfiger 25 so bad! That zipper fly!!!
They were super cute!!
Our Goodwill has a $1.50 t-shirt section, luckily found 2 Nikes.
So jealous!!!!
Fr! At my goodwill they have a 2$ shirt section & I found 4 A&M shirts WITH TAGS! It's amazing.
Maybe you've heard it before but you remind me so much of AlexaSunshine83 🤯
I thought that too lol
they look similar, but their personalities feel like the complete opposite!

Literally yell at them for being out of their cock a doodle minds pricing things like that .... did they all of a sudden become a consignment store? An antique store? Are they a subsidiary of Hermes perhaps? My blood is boiling lol
$899 is still crazy! I think anything over $100 at a thrift store is insane. Lol I know!
Resale people drive prices up.....VV is not stupid
It’s normal (I guess) to have overpriced jewelry at the thrift store. The ones I go to have jewelry priced like that sometimes. 🤷🏽♀️
Canada thrift= Expensive Remind me to never go there lol
Kelly Timms okay but $10 Canadian is is only $7.50 in the states. The exchange rate is whats crazy
the price is high it a thrift store they get it free
Nobody:
Value village: prices something over $1000
Vancouver thrifts hella expensive
Anyone else here watching videos to remember how life, was before you know the global pandemic happened?
YES. I miss fitting rooms. Though I'm grateful my Value Village at least still has the washroom open, so could be worse. */shrug*
