My assigned truck is a 2022 Cascadia. It has adaptive cruise control (pretty fancy) but on the screen where the engine idle adjust is, there is no option to turn on opti-idle. The truck is leased from Ryder so my guess is that they don't want us to use optimized idle. I wish I could figure out how to turn it on anyway.
Another difference between battery mode and interior comfort mode is with battery mode you can use your bunk heater or your A/C EPU which is what I prefer here at Westside with interior comfort mode to truck will start and stop every half hour or hour and it wakes me up so I use battery mode so I can use my EPU
Do you have a lot of things plugged in or running? Usually means that the truck thinks it has more electrical load than it has electrical supply. It's basic the truck saying it doesn't have enough juice to run all of the goods so it's picking and choosing more or less. Could nlbe too much stuff running or Could be batteries or alternator getting weak or a sensor going wacky. These newer trucks can be a puzzle with electrical stuff.
@@RocknRollTrucker well it works... sort of. The interior thermostat control just stops working when "interior comfort" is selected to the "on" position. Sleeper controls and dash both just stop.
Best explanation ever. Thanks
Why dont I see an interior comfort on my settings?
How do you have an engine idle adjust option? My truck doesn't have that.

This is very possible. Some of these places get very stingy with the specs and features!
I hope you have a safe, and merry Christmas.
Thank ya much and same to you!
Best video best explanation I didn’t know I have to leave the key in on position thank you buddy!
Glad I could help👍👍

Yes. I realized I left that distinction out after the video already loaded😄 Good pointer for anyone that sees this.
Dial settings are missing from this video
Well my 23 sucks. It gets hot in this thing right away. After 10 minutes in moderate weather it gets warm in here
Yeah and this system is garbage.
@@richardspillers6282 I figured out the shutoff bypass.
Hey bud, can you please explain what does “load shedding” mean. I get this on my dash.

Thank you. I just have the typical stuff, refrigerator, tv, and usually keep the microwave off until I’m ready to use it. But thanks again!
That works thank you
Glad it worked for ya!......I'm slightly late responding 😒😒😄😄
My interior comfort mode must not work then...
Well, that stinks. It's a nice feature to have!

Fuck opti idle. Disrespectfully
@Inquietuss I'd agree, I was just dealing with what we had at that company.
