I heard their acoustic version of this song first on Wits (NPR) and I like it much better. I just sat there listening and thinking, "The gall of this song to be so simple and yet sound so good..." It was mesmerizing. I'm hooked!

The piano chords during "is this my life" sound a lot like the piano part from the Beatles A Day in the Life, have to wonder if that is intentional. Metric has so many nods to the classic rock stuff in their music.
I'm 6'3 burly surly and crying tears being moved hearing this version of this song for the first time. She's got so much emotion pouring out of that voice it's so powerful
