Agreed. LG was my first Pokemon game, and I feel like they're getting even better with age!
They had the best post games, too. I love Gen 3.
It's always when I arrive in Vermilion City when i can say, "I'm definitely on a journey now." Pewter and Cerulean were still within waking/hiking distance of home, but now we're in uncharted territory, trainers all around and adventure to be had.

This was one of my favorite towns and themes in Gen 3, some great times back then
I'm always going to be partial to the Gen 2 rendition of this song but the original is still super strong, and this remaster is exactly what I'd expect out of a modern mix of it
