Dont get me wrong these are good and seem to be accurate but they are not really contactless

I'm on my 4th unit. The last was shipped to me from Sicce. The device was factory set for 77F . The aquarium water temperature was 78 when the heater was placed in the tank. Thirty minutes later the heater was heating the water and showed condensation inside the glass tube. I lowered the settings to 65F scanning the heater. Heater accepted the setting. However, didn't stop heating the aquarium. This as I stated, is the 4th heater from Sicce. All of the heaters are doing the same thing. I'll be again contacting them Monday morning.

It's interesting. May need a bit of modifying and fine tuning before they're good but an interesting direction.

Ever since the dawn of the aquasky light by fluval i wanted something similar for heating i use inkbird systems in the shop moons ago but needs to be full contactless

Hell no, it will be programmable bluetooth bot fish next. Someone's in their shed designing a prototype as i type, no doubt it could sell, in china, and as usual i make people a lot of money via my big gob.

This heater sucks can't even heat a 90 gallon

They are not a great option i would use two heaters in a 90 though just my opinion
