@streetwhereulive He did. He often went around Copenhagen with his horse, and the Germans asked why the King didn't have bodyguards. Danish answered by saying that the people of Denmark are the King's bodyguards. It's amazing! The nordic Monarchies are wonderful. It was the King of Norway who said: "I'm also the King of the Communists". And I could go on...
It was Frederik IX father Christian X who rode around in Copenhagen during wwII and he was protected, respected and loved by the Danish people. Frederik IX was loved too when he became king, he was a man of the land and of the people, and he liked to drink beers with ordinary people in the worst places all over the country. Now his Daughter Magrethe II is our Queen, and she is a gordious woman which have the respect from all, or most of the citizens in this beloved country ;-)
Sir(s): On this date, and at this Juncture, I would like very much to wish for Everyone such a home-life and good feeling of Home that is seen and shared within the moments, here, of one (1) afternoon Teatime. Happy Easter, & Etc. I hope you can find the Golden Egg far out somewhere in the Field. Or perhaps even an antique Faberge Egg. Be safe during the Holiday. And now, Have a Nice Day. Godspeed.
