Hoshi choreographed this song. The reason there isnt any choreo in the MV is because Hoshi said they hit a wall on what kind of choreo to do for this song and at last came up with this idea. Its one of my most favourite chreographies in Kpop ever. AND YES this is one of the reasons why they are known as the Theatre Kids of Kpop.

9:27 you're right. that was Joshua's famous mistake and they kept it as the choreo because it looked better lol and yes they do this choreo live! mostly exclusive for Caratland stage now, not in concerts

You need to watch their live performance of this! Its not sped up, you’ll see the whole performance live and its really like a musical thats why they are called the theater kids of kpop.

I call it the couch choreo and you are correct. It IS life-changing. I love it. There is another practice , same song, same room but shot from behind the couch. So you can see all the shenannigans going on back there. And yes--they do perform this couch choreo on stage(s). Thanks for this delightful reaction.
Simon you are correct. Joshua went early in an iconic live performance and it was so good it became the choreo. I will forever love SCoups' face when that happened 💙

It's also my first time watching being a baby Carat and I must say it's life changing indeed! 🥲 this particular choreo is just aesthetically pleasing 😍 honestly, everything i've learned about Seventeen has been life changing so far. Their music and performances, even their share of variety shows. But i'm most amazed of being perceived as idols in their 9th year but still act like rookies. Their humility is just humbling 🫶🙌❤️

oh if you loved this then you'll love the MCOUNTDOWN comeback stage for Home;run! Just watching the MV isn't enough, the performance is everything. Just like Pretty U the musical vibes are immaculate! My jaw dropped when I first watched it- I also thought 'wow this is the best choreo I've ever seen'. The Hoshi fancam in the purple outfit is also especially good.
Lol I have been watching the video so many time for years but now after you mention it look sped up, come to think of it, it does look sped up to me😂 but of course it's not. Watch their live stages and it still the same, or even better (especially when Joshua did that famous mistake😂).

Yes, this is the song where Joshua makes a mistake - the best mistake in Kpop history. He starts early, but he is supposed to do an extra leg pump and the others catch up to him. He forgot and just kept going. But he just covered it so well that the fans didn't know until the following day. Though apparently he felt so bad backstage.
Yes, they do perform it with the sofa. Hoshi talks about how when he proposed the sofa, the company said no, but he kept pushing for it and I think it's iconic. I can't even think of it without the sofa.
Yes, I don't hit the notification bell because I only come on Fridays for Seventeen - I've randomly caught one or two of your other videos, but mainly I come on Fridays and you normally pop up on my fyp at the top once you upload. So, it's not necessary to have the bell.
