Love the content! always cool to see what's coming. Wish Canada would approve these technologies sooner, I'm still waiting on the omni pod 5 roll out, they just approved it.🙄 Keep up the good work.
It's always amazing how many new pumps are coming out now. but how are you finding these conventions? I live In florida and have been desperately trying to find some to go to
Justin you are always making great videos. Keeping us update on the different pumps and CGM's coming out and how the functionality of the devices work. Hope to see videos of the Tandem x3 pump will be coming out and the features of it and how it is going to work. GREAT VIDEOS AND KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
I may have missed it, but what CGM does it work with, or does it have its own monitoring system, and what plans for the EU and UK - really interested in this pump - mainly due to the Tidepool algorithm
Will it cost $6000+ USD. Reason I am still using an older Tandem pump (which thanks to Tandem greed I cant get the G7 update for) is the cost of new one is simply not affordable.
Do you not have Health insurance ? Tandem only doesn’t allow updates when you hit your your warranty .., once you were out of warranty, you can no longer have access to update your pump until you get a new pump and I’ll back in warranty. That being said they called me two months prior to make sure I had the most updated software before I fell out of warranty, and they continuously have the updated software before my warranty expires in July
@@lisasalvo589 I have insurance, but it does not cover the cost of insulin pumps. Not many do other than government hand out insurance. This is the third company insurance I have had and none covered pumps. Until I meet my deducible ALL my pump and supplies are out of pocket. I NEVER meet my deducible other than ONCE when I was hospitalized. Guess what, I got my first pump which I still use 5yrs later. It's still greed to not allow software updates past warranty time. But hey those corporate execs need those BMWs and Mercedes.
I'm losing faith that Tidepool pump will be coming out this year. Since they are working with another company, business decisions that impact one company can have a severe impact on the other company. FDA approval is one thing, but bringing an idea to the market can be delayed way past their expected time frame.
It’s technically not a Tidepool pump. It’s the twist using the algorithm of looping. I spoke with Kate Farnsworth ( lady in the video) at a conference that’s happening this week and she said they’re doing a slow roll out end of this year and then by new year will do full roll out. Things like this take time. They’re a new company. They need to be able to handle the customer service aspect, training , insurance, processing, claims and rolling out a new pump via pharmacy benefits. That’s a lot.
@@aleasa24 is there a beta testing ability. I'm an early adopter. Love to try this out so my Endo can give me recommendations. Currently using AAPS with omnipod dash. AAPS is not FDA approved
Thanks Justin for keeping us in the loop!😊
Excellent video, exciting news. Well done for making such informative videos, they are really good.

Twiist looks easy to use and very promising
What happens if you accidentally press or push the triggers though?

I say in a facebook group that it's going to work with the Dexcom G6.
Anything for us that use Android?

I think it's too big
Twiist pump is like from 2000…it’s bigger than a moon
Tubeless only way to go. Omnipod the best.
Awful design 😮
