I like the idea of the strong back made from laminated plywood.
It definitely makes it easier to make a straight strong back that's more stable over time.
Nice apron! (And vest!) 😊
Thanks! You know, I don’t think it’s something I would have bought on my own..but now I can’t imagine working without it. Keeps me clean and organized.
Great project. Can't wait to watch it unfold. How wonderful that you get to share it with your Dad. Enjoy every minute.
Thanks Keith! It should be a fun build!
Awesome video
Thanks!
Looking forward to seeing (and trying) the finished product!
Can’t wait!
Looking forward to see how it comes out. Definitely on my bucket list.
Thanks Rob!
Looking forward to seeing this process.

Thanks Mark! It will be a lot of fun.
Looking forward to this build. I’ve pondered building one myself. All the best.
Thanks Dean, we are too! You should give it a shot! Thanks for watching.
🎉
That will be a nice project for you guys to work on and it sure will be nice once finished. Might be a little heavy to lug around tho haha
I’ve been meaning to build one for a while. Should be a lot of fun! Surprisingly, they weigh about 75lbs…it’s kind of shocking. Hope you had a Happy Easter!
@Maine Outdoor Enthusiast wow that is great 75 pounds is real good. I ca t wait to see the progress as the build goes along! I hope you and the family had a wonderful Easter as well Paul!!
Finally things are warming up in northern Maine. The day we started the canoe it was 17 degrees that morning🥶
@@MaineOutdoorEnthusiast same here been 70 the past 2 days tonorrow and Friday supposed to be 75 I've been enjoying it haha. I went fishing for trout opening day, no luck was rainy and cold
