How long was that laptop used for? i clean my laptops inside and outside but do not clean that weird bar thing with the block of dust (4:48) (I have been using my laptop for 1.3 years so i will clean in like 2 months) so thanks for letting me know about that part, if it weren't for you my laptop will and would be bad in the future.
Nice video and all, but alcohol wipes would be better for cleaning off the paste and for the love of god can you put some quiet lofi music over the video?? I was dying of boredom at parts 😂 streambeats is good for music
great video , good showing of close ups ans not to fast and step by step , can you do a keyboard replacement for the same laptop , the MSI GF75 thin ? , i have a new one but need to see a good vieo
hello i have the MSI GF75 Thin 10SDK, will the same teardown work on my laptop? its been a year since i got it and i cant play any graphic intensive games cause its overheating. when i searched the problem cleaning it out is what everyone said, and even my tech friend said the same thing.
What is the size/specification of the screw holding the silver plate on the fan? Mine has also accumulated a carpet between the fan and heat sink. I don’t have that size screwdriver to open that silver cover holding the fan. Any input will be much appreciated.
Normaly i never clean my laptop bcs of being afraid i might break essential components ore other things I need to do it one way ore another cause its getting pretty warm already
You can do that but its way more dangerous than thermal paste Thermal paste does not condict electricity and its dense enough to keep it in one place While liquid metal foes conduct electricity, and its not dense enough to stay in the cpu In other words if you try it you will most likely be fucked
Thanks dude imma give this a try for my work computer. It’s running slow even after windows reinstall. Might need to be physically cleaned
thanks man, i bought a used one and kind of hot, maybe clean and change the thermal paste will help a lot, i just need buy the tools
How is it running afterwards now?

Yes. You should change the thermal paste too.
Are you nervous that moisture from the can getting on the board? -noob question

whats the thermal pad thickness?
Why didn't you use liquid medal instead of that paste?
