Just a one small tip for everyone doing a diy repair. I am a repair shop owner and please forfeit from ordering any knockoff aliexpress I have tried them they cost around 15-20 bucks a piece whereas the original can be bought from Ifixit for around 60-70 dollars. There is a huge price gap point but My experience with knockoff ones are they tend to overheat alot and they end up sometimes frying the motherboard sometimes or with my friend's PS4 PRO I did the cheaper repair because he wanted to save his money I already told him the power supply might not last as much as a original one. He agreed for the cheaper still so i did the repair and it ended up dieing on him within 3 months. Cheap powersupplys are a temprory solution

hello i have the MSI GF75 Thin 10SDK, will the same teardown work on my laptop? its been a year since i got it and i cant play any graphic intensive games cause its overheating. when i searched the problem cleaning it out is what everyone said, and even my tech friend said the same thing.

What is the size/specification of the screw holding the silver plate on the fan? Mine has also accumulated a carpet between the fan and heat sink. I don’t have that size screwdriver to open that silver cover holding the fan. Any input will be much appreciated.

How long was that laptop used for? i clean my laptops inside and outside but do not clean that weird bar thing with the block of dust (4:48) (I have been using my laptop for 1.3 years so i will clean in like 2 months) so thanks for letting me know about that part, if it weren't for you my laptop will and would be bad in the future.

Great video! Quick question: I accidentally pulled out the pins from the power supply when disassembling my console and ordered a new power supply for replacement. The pins that were removed (stuck in the connector cable) should be present and attached on the new power supply I ordered, correct?
