@@jumperstartful Keep playin my friend.. sometime you just need time and friends that play other things or instruments to find your own way.. maybe in this new time you will find that changes in your settin.. distance tween your drumset.. other drums or musical genres or even others instruments will make you a better musician
Bro, idk if you know important it is but being a good big brother is one of the most important things you can do for him. Your patience, kindness, playfulness will literally go one to help shape him as a human. You are a fuckin rockstar!
this is one of those fills that you play and most people are blown away and think it’s really hard. it might be a little tricky at first getting the time down or if you haven’t done fills between your hands and feet, but for the most part it’s really easy. like everything else it takes practice. i use this and have different variations with the quick double kick like bonham did so you can play it as 16th notes or play it a few times as 8th note triplets then once as 16th note triplets sounds really cool.
You are fuckin awesome dude. Your lil bro is gonna cherish these memories for life. You are giving him priceless gifts for the both of you. This is so awesome
I don't think you realize what kind of life you saved your brother from. Idk where I'd be if music wasn't in my life and someone took time like you did. I've made albums and been on tour and helped other kids learn as well. You're a good dude man. And an even better big brother
good brother!! many wish their older siblings would take the time to interact and notice their existence, let alone work together to teach him. mad kudos and respect my dude... keep it up
Now do it with a metronome! Then try doing 2 over 2, 16th notes. 1 e on bass drum & a on the toms or snare(obviously if youre starting on the first beat of the measure). Then 4s(4 partials of a sextuplet)Or even harder splitting them! 1 on bass e on snare or tom & on bass a on snare/tom for the 16th notes and 4 over 4 if you have double bass pedals. Or 4 over 2 for a 6(sextuplet).
Damn your lil bro learns quickkk
He killed it!!
@@joeycastro.1 yes Indeed…..🤙🏻🫡
Kids usually learn stuff really fast, that's how kids brains work
yup, actually happened the same to me. but as i grow older my guitar skill just stop improving 🤣
having a young brain + drums are really intuitive + you have a teacher who you know really well
You shred and your little bro is definitely gonna be a ripper too
I’m ready for it, we’re going to drum off eachother and learn off eachother
didnt even know shred was a drum term too
When the kid hit it like Hulk it sounded amazing.
Yup, I was looking for this comment
Yeah , he’s probably still a little timid to smashing on them , but like all instruments things ware out like the heads and they need replacement
"that sounds like shit when you don't hit it hard" is the real golden advice here, kid is lucky to have a good brother
This is like rowley and rodrick hanging out

I loved the drums and took lessons but I didn't have the talent.

I agree. This is awesome. They must have great parents, too.
@@hangingchad_ Love Is the more powerful force.. specially when It comes from the family
@@jumperstartful there's no "the talent" you just stopped playing lmao
The Bingham triplets oddly enough, start on your left.
Kid's brains are really something else. He picked that up so quick.
Rest in peace, Bonzo. And excellent playing, bruv! You've got the best big brother!
😮that last groove where you guys played it together synchronized was 😍 🤩 AMAZING

My cousin taught me these when I started learning. Once I started I couldn't stop

Thats awesome man. Must feel nice teaching your lil bro. Good bonding. God bless yas
Bonham would often lead with his left hand when playing triplets
That’s a myth
@@jeper1969 oh wait you're right
John Bonham didn't even record drums on any of the records. It was Lars Ulrich

I grew up in a town called Bonham
Bonham’s crossover triplets start with the LEFT hand, little bros. Practice his bass drum triplet shuffle grooves, too. Keep at it.
Oh damnnn true
Keep with the R L K guys .
That’s the correct way to do it
@@jeper1969 Maybe. Depends on where the “one” is. But you’d be wrong to call a RLK a “Bonham triplet.” That’s just a fact.
