So sorry for the loss of your beloved brother-in-law. From what you said, the first anniversary of his passing was recent or will be soon, so I'm sending hugs along with this comment. I haven't heard the Edith Eger quote before and it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for this glimpse into your life. I hope 2023 has been a better year for you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing. My BIL took his life in 2021. I would like to thank you for talking openly about this in combination with mental health: not an easy topic but one that touches more lives than you would expect. And I love your 2022 journal: it’s so pretty! Many blessings for 2023 to you and your loved ones❤

Shawn, I am so sorry for your loss. You are a true blessing to so many. Mental Health has always been such a heartbreaking issue. I myslef have been touched by it, but have never lost someone to suicide. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and art with us. Blessing to you. xo

I feel your pain. We lost our son in May 2020. The only way we get through it is knowing he is free of mental torture. Grief is another form of love.

Thank you so much for sharing, I was very touched by so many of the pages. When you were talking about your scissors it made me laugh because I can relate. Scissors everywhere, but none of them cut well because they either have paint, glue, or tape residue on them 🙄.

Thank you for sharing such a hard part of your life I’m so grateful for you doing this. I love your videos they are so good. My uncle who was like a brother to me as we were very close ages took his life many years ago on New Year’s Eve such a hard time for the family. I’ve had three friends sons take their life in feb how can we help our men to feel better about themselves I wish I knew much love xx

I have a pair of scissors from dollar tree for cutting things with paint or adhesive, so I don't mess up my good ones. That might help!!

WOW! What an incredible difference the black and white paint used with your brayer made!! I've had 2 different size brayers for a while now, and for some reason have just been nervous/overwhelmed to use it? If that makes sense? It's SO refreshing seeing you use it the way you did without a gelli plate (which I find much too expensive and do not worth that price!) Love this video and your content 💞 I haven't finished watching it but I'm excited to see how it turns out in the end! Much love as always 💕

your covers are Embracing the Year - your cover came out beautiful - now i have a question lol - if you do not want the elastic to cover your special quote - are you able to allow it to go vertical rather than horizontal? - would that work? just my little mind thinking lol - thank you Shawn - this was inspiring - take care xx
