Love your energy, enthusiasm, smile and, general love of life. You make me smile too!😁
Awww thank you, very kind. I love shooting and the community around it, but I’m hoping that I’m keeping it real enough. I’m not a fab shot and I miss many but we can all be pros or else it’d be boring 😅💁🏼♀️ lessons required, they are just rather expensive and I’d need to have whole batch of them in order to get my consistency up
Another great video, just love your enthusiasm for the sport.
Thank you, I truly love it, every single part🙌🏼
Well done, cracking good shot.
Awww thank you
Love your vids
Nice job Lea, enjoyable video.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it
Love your videos.
Thank you very kind
Great video again love your enthusiasm and the countryside is exceptional. Really like the banter between you and the man in the gun shop 😂😂. Keep them coming they always put a smile on my face 😊.
He’s such a gem, very knowledgeable..I always go with his advice. It’s such a beautiful area, never get bored of it. There’s more in the pipe line and planned 🙌🏼
Can’t wait 👍
I love and enjoy my beaters day here in New Zealand at the Craigmore Station pheasant shoot too.
As said, you have great energy, great to watch.
A suggestion though! Try putting a camera behind you and up, to see the birds flying over you.
We get eight drives split between the two teams of beaters.
I only manage two or three birds for the day, as I use a single shot 12g percussion muzzle loader.
I've been a black powder shooter for fifty years and just love the challenge.
Keep up the good work 😉.
Oh I love black powder days, not see it for years though. So lovely to watch!
It’s hard to position camera when you’re on your tod on peg, plus we move quite a bit and so I keep moving all of my stuff down a peg.
Sounds like you have a brilliant time
That looked like so much fun!!
It truly was 🙌🏼
Another great video! I love the expressions, "Mate's rates," and "Carnage corner!"
Love a little bit of mates rates 😂 and carnage corner is just that, it’s fab each year
Beautiful countryside. High incomers are some of my favorite shots. Always remember to keep your head down on the gun and keep the gun moving. As soon as you lift your head to watch the bird fall, you will stop your swing and shoot behind.
Stopping my swing is a huge issue, along with the comb being too low but that’s going to be amended fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Another great video.
Why thank you 😊💥
I enjoy the chat while beating but, it's been fun watching you shooting. Thanks for posting
Well there’s plenty more chat to come don’t worry about that. I’ll be sure to talk more next time
Well done Lea, sounded like you had a great day and well deserved after beating all season. Your smile said it all👍
Thank you very much, fab day. Loved it, so much fun, smiling ear to ear after that 💥🙌🏼
Fabulous video. Hopefully you’ll do a collaboration video with Johnny @tgsoutdoors.
Thank you. What a fab idea
You make my day every time you post a video. Your smile and great attitude are a joy. BTW, the drive by the creek looks like the garden of Eden.
Thank you, I truly love it from start to finish, every element. Very kind😊 It’s beautiful isn’t it. That’s my favourite drive for scenery from a peg position. The super steep hill in front of me is the one that I come down whilst beating on that drive.
So happy you had a good day afield- super video well done and God Bless you and yours.....
Thank you that’s so sweet
Nice video. Love your enthusiasm. Also nice to see good safe and proper gun handling.👍👍👍
Too kind thank you. Yes, I may miss many many birds but I always like to know I’m being safe, that’s a priority 👌🏼
I do love a good beaters day! 🙌🏼
Love the vid Lea. You're always good fun and a great shot.
That’s so so kind. I truly am an awful shot, I miss so so many but I have fun and a lovely day at the same time. One day I’ll be hitting more than I miss but today sadly isn’t that day😂 lessons are quite expensive. Glad you enjoyed the video
Great video.
Thank you
Great video! When you hunt it is a fine blend of preparation and reflex. Your reflexes are always faster and more accurate than just a pure set up. The key is not having too much anticipation and let just letting yourself react to the stimulus. Your body knows what to do sometimes our nerves and thinking gets in the way. Glad you had a good hunt.
Oh I find that all the time with clays. I think about my feet, where the clays going, body position, swing etc etc and I do get nervous when there’s a queue of people waiting 😂 snap shooting is easier as it doesn’t give you time to worry 🤦🏼♀️
Fantastic video, I always enjoy watching your enthusiasm and infectious laugh, I am from the land down under, your voice is much softer on the ears than what I normally hear. I have only just started clay target shooting, 3 outings to the local club. I am an avid watcher of youtube channels to learn the sport. I agree with the other comment, an outing with TGS would be awesome.
Much softer but very loud, I can usually be heard before being seen 😂 Fab to hear that you’ve just started clay shooting and are enjoying it. Good job on doing research and learning about it, that’s so good to hear, it’ll help you no end. I would love to do an outing with TGS but I’m not quite that good I’m afraid 😂
Great video and excellent shooting. Look out in the clay season 40+ on the cards 😊
😅😂 Who you kidding Thomas😂😅 that won’t happen..unless I have some lessons and the comb raiser fitted. Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. Some good shots but also some very good misses 😅
@LeaLeasCountryLife you are a good shot and try a raiser. The best thing I ever did was have my gun fitted. We all have some very good misses but that's game shooting for you
@@tomfoster4706Thank you, but as you know sometimes I’m very good sometimes I’m very very bad. Depends on the day 😂 tried a comb raiser and I don’t like the fact that it moves. Beatrice may have to go for the chop and a little bit of money spent on her
Well done Lea Lea you held your own Chargot wood's he'll of a drive your at the top end where they are HIGH 😊 good for you, Spitfire?lovely drive. Looking forward to your crow, pigeon 🎥 happy days if you're ever in Oxfordshire and you want a days pigeon shooting your more than welcome 😊.
Very kind of you thank you. They were so so high, pleased just to get the ones I did. Lucky I didn’t start doing a happy dance 😂 More to come 👌🏼
😊
Great day out with Beatrice
It was indeed 💥
First thing I noticed was you didn’t have your cap on in the beginning of the video! Congrats on your last hunt! I walk an average of 13 miles a day for 7 of the 9 days of an Elk hunt in Colorado at 11000ft! It must be nice to be driven to the hunt!! lol!
😂😂😂 I tend to live in baker boys during the shoot season and on clay evenings, helps to protect my head and hide my hair when it’s untamed😂 13 miles, cor that’s very far, your feet must be really sore at the end of that. We do tend to get driven to peg on shoots, even on smaller syndicate days
@@LeaLeasCountryLife Sorry but you have me at "baker boys" ? LOL, 13 miles while hunting Elk is somewhat normal, especially on public land hunts. Yes I was sore and worn out after the 9 days of hunting but, I prepared myself for a year before heading out to do the hunt and am prepping for this upcoming year as well! It was the hardest most taxing things Ive done since my time in the Army Airborne Infantry, both mentally and physically. But, something I am looking forward to doing again this year. IF I could show you the views I had at over 10k feet, you would understand why I am going back!
Nice video, good shooting, see you on the 21st! xx
Mr Marlow, you shall indeed. Long time no see my dear
But I have seen you on your very own RUclips channel! Such a star xx@@LeaLeasCountryLife
@@tommarlow4587😂😂😂 Thanks my dear. At least you haven’t missed my face or loud voice 😂
great video great girl i think i like you lol
Thanks Nigel 😊💥
Nice dogo
Privallage to stand were the guns pay big money to stand looks like a cracking day well done Lea
It is a privilege indeed, we are very well looked after
Have you always shot 20g. I bought one last year a strugle to slow my swing down
Always had a 20g. This is my first and only shotgun. I struggle to keep my swing going 😂 we have the opposite issue, what a pair we are
Great stuff Lea, thanks for making the effort to cheer us older gits up with your smiles & giggles.
Was the dog in the truck on the drive back a Kelpie? always fancied a Kelpie, but have no work for one so doubt it will ever happen.
Cheers me dears xx
Awww your not old, spring chicken! Happiness is key, got to keep smiling and having a laugh. He is a kelpie indeed, he wanted to be in shot 😂 That’s a shame, could always look into one that isn’t a puppy
Love the video.
What kind of shotgun are you using?
My shotgun is called Beatrice 😅 and she is a Beretta silver pigeon, 2011, 28 inch barrels, 20 gauge. She doesn’t fit me all too well, she needs sending off to get adjusted really but rather spenny on the old gold nuggets
is it just pheasant shooting you do ,looks fun but bet its expensive
It can be a tad costly but the price reflects the costs involved and the effort that goes in
Did you have your hat surgically removed at the start of the video 😂... Still lovely and a breath of fresh air.. Hat or no hat.
😂😂😂Sooooo, I’m always in my baker boy as we should always wear a hat whilst shooting and it does help when beating so you don’t get your hair caught, head bashed or any fall hitting you as badly. PPE first 😝Glad you liked it
❤❤
Why wasn't you given a peg number
We kinda sort ourselves out, it is very organised and take it on turns
£7 a box that’s cheap
£11 a box 😊
great video great girl i think i like you lol
Thanks Nigel 😊💥
