So enjoyable to watch! Great story telling and great edit. Beautiful countryside to be working in too. Always a pleasure when a Lea Lea video uploads. Keep them coming!
When I look back when beating on a small estate, the distance covered over muddy fields and through blackthorn bushes was immense. But we're we fit back then. I don't think non country people realise how much work goes into organising a days pheasant shoot. Love your videos ❤
We cover some distance don’t we, keeps us nice and fit. Blackthorn is awful, my hands are always covered with little cuts and nicks😂 So much goes into organising a days shooting, months before hand, the days leading up and on the day. The keepers work tirelessly from the moment the birds arrive right through to February, long old days and nights for months on end. Thank you very much, glad you are enjoying them 😊✨🪶💥
Gee... such rough terrain... beaters have a hard time there. need to be in good shape! (I can imagine what a hard time the dogs and the pickers have!) Great video! Thank you!
It’s quite steep in spots, definetely works your leg muscles and gets you fitter. Worth it for the views and laughs we all have. Pickers and dogs work flat out, everyone pulls together as one big team to give a cracking day. You’re welcome, glad you liked it 🙌🏼🪶😝
Thank you🙌🏼🪶 On the last drive a very small handful of birds swung back round, this is fine, it happens. That block of maize is quite long and the field drops down towards the direction of the gun line. It is impossible to keep every bird in the cover crop, some will inevitably creep out.
My boots come half way up my calf and my trousers are waterproof and bramble proof. I don’t tend to go through any water and if I do it definitely wasn’t the plan 😂
Excellent! Good to let people know how much work is involved in presenting the birds. They don’t just magically appear on demand. Good work 👍👍👍
Thank you. So much hard work goes into a shoot day from the entire team. Communication is key 👌🏼
So enjoyable to watch!
